Fingerprint Cable Lock, 3.6'' Long Shackle Fingerprint Lock with Bluetooth APP, Smart Keyless Biometric Waterproof Outdoor Smart Padlock for Gate Fence Locker Cabinet Gym Backyard

I honestly thought this would be a gimmick, but it’s been a great purchase. The app is simple to use and setup took just a few minutes. I’ve only charged it once and it’s still going strong months later. I use it for a home storage unit, and an few adults in the house have their fingerprints registered, it recognizes everyone very well. Works flawlessly every time. Bottom Line: A sturdy, dependable smart lock that exceeded expectations.

Great lock, easy setup

Worked for 5 months and then stopped working. Showing it charging but once we stopped charging, nothing! Steer clear of this brand of lock. We will have to repurchase another one by another company I guess. Unfortunate because we use this for safety purposes for our 3 year old! While it lasted it was great easy to use we set up all our kids fingerprints to it and everyone was able to use it aside from the toddler. Fingerprint recognition was a little finicky but not to bad considering we needed this to keep her safe. Durability not so much obviously we’re 5 months in having to find another option.

Works well, though it sometimes needs a few tries.

My wife goes on daily walks and must go through a locked gate. It was such a pain for her to bend over to read the tiny numbers on the combo lock face. These fingerprint locks eliminate that problem. Now she can easily use her thumbprint lock unlocks. The lock readers have been very dependable and work with your phone app so you know when to recharge them. After buying and using one, we purchased additional locks for our other gates. The extra cost is definitely offset by the added convenience. The flexible cable on the lock also makes it easy to hang on a gate lock and use the fingerprint reader without struggling to access the lock in the gate latch.

I ordered this after a truck smashed into our gate and broke our automatic gate opener. Because of this, I went looking for a way to secure our gate with something we can use in other ways once it is repaired. The functionality of setting up temporary pass codes or longer-term fingerprint and the functionality of being able to use our phone to open it touch free is important since we get deliveries and we want family to be able to access our property without having to walk down to the gate which is about an acre away. I also appreciated that is waterproof. When I received this lock, I was impressed. We had everything set up in minutes and the installation was super easy. We were ready to use it in about 30 minutes from receiving it. The lock function was also smooth and I like that the lock doesn’t have metal showing on the hasp since we would be using it in the cold. The down side is, it errored out after about 45 days of use unfortunately and it wasn’t allowing us to factory reset the device to try to fix it. So now, it is unfortunately junk. Such a bummer since I was looking forward to using this on our barn after we were done with the gate. I’m pretty sure this is just a glitch since we bought another lock from the same manufacturer after this and it’s working perfectly. The quality is there, the software just bugged out.

NOT RECOMMENDED: I purchased 5 of these locks (2 short, 3 long). They seem to fail based on use. The fingerprint reader started to fail about 9 months. If it was wet or you tried to clear the pad, the lock red lighted and locked up. At 11 months the lock was almost unable to read finger prints anymore. At 14 months the battery failed. It no longer charges. Not bad as a disposable "short term" solution, but failures seem inevitable. I've lost the 2 most frequently used locks (2 of 5 locks). I am replacing them all.

Wanted a modern lock with fast and easy access and this is that. It’s a process to getting things setup. But after that I Just scanned my thumb and it opened! Also read on a single charge it last 6 months!

Had it for over 3 weeks now. Easy to set up and it works every time!👍
