Follow all instructions carefully
I feel like I have a brand new phone. The battery I replaced was also a cheap/generic replacement from Amazon, and I suspect it's largely hit or miss with these things, but I can't help but think I've had such a better experience this time because I followed all instructions available, not just the included 'Engrish' printed instructions, but also others online. I watched a few videos & followed the step-by-step on the most prominent home phone repair website. I think I may have been hasty cracking this phone open the first time because I had so much success doing so back in the days of the iPhone 5. i've been told by phone repair professionals that the screens are drastically easier to break now than they used to be. but it may be that the most important instructions to be mindful of, that most of us tend to disregard, is the instructions for "conditioning" a new li-ion battery, and the instructions for getting the most life out of it. They say to immediately charge it to 100% and leave it charging at 100% for 45 minutes, then to fully discharge it (down to 10 or 15%), and repeat this for eight power cycles. After that (and this kinda sucks, but it is what it is) one should avoid ever charging li-ion batteries to 100%. Apparently the best way to drastically extend battery life is to charge back up to approximately 80% (not 100%) and then avoid letting it get below 20%. For the entire life of the battery. if you think about it, you'll notice how quickly it goes from 100% to 80% but then kind of hangs out there. I did some more reading on this and apparently I've been kinda abusive to all my other lithium ion batteries, particularly my 18650 headlamp batteries & my power tool batteries. I don't think the latter is really practical to avoid charging to 100%, but I definitely have not been properly storing my batteries. They should be stored at around 40% charge and then fully charge cycled once every few months.anyway it's kinda interesting all the goofy and weird, counterintuitive problems that failing batteries can cause in everything from smartphones to automobiles. This replacement battery cured a bunch of weird crap my phone was having and has been a big relief.

Failed battery--difficult to contact customer service
This battery failed within weeks of purchase. It would lose charge even when the phone was powered down. That proved to me the battery was junk. My original battery would at least hold a charge with the phone powered down. I would NOT buy this battery again.

Excellent Replacement For GS9+
Much better than recent replacements. I can’t recall how long the original battery lasted but I can say that this batter is performing great right out the box.It lasts around 17 hours with heavy usage and I purposely drained it down and charged it back up to achieve the 3-5 cycles suggested by the manufacturer. It’s not reported as 9000 mah but I think it’s a phone software cap off not the battery. I had the same reporting issue with my previous replacement that was 4500 mah. I’d disregard those numbers. My phone feels normal and last 24hrs easily now without heavy usage. And, around 15-17hrs if I’m on a social media binge ( not saying I do. That was just to do the power cycles). Imma say I won this battle. Very good and improved replacement product.

Good Battery -- but connection cable STICKS OUT causing shutdown
This is a Good Battery, made by XYIRMCYF, for the iPhone SE 2016 -- BUT the Battery's Connection Ribbon Cable Sticks Out. Testing the battery before completely closing up the display screen & the iPhone turns on nicely. HOWEVER when completely close up the display screen to screw in the last two pentalobe screws & then the iPhone unfortunately shuts down completely off & goes through an on/off loop of only momentarily showing the apple logo over & over again while I have the iPhone plugged into a lightning cable charger. Turns out the problem is because this replacement battery's connection ribbon cable is a pinch too long & therefore does not fully fit in to hide the ribbon cable in besides the battery & therefore sticks out. Close up the screen and the battery connection shorts out to shutdown the iPhone. The battery & iPhone are both still okay -- but shuts down off when completely close up the display screen. First I thought I messed up the display screen -- but after observing what happens when closing the screen at the top, then the bottom, then the left side, and then it was completely closing the right side when the shutdown occurred. It's towards that right side where the battery ribbon cable is located & therefore if it sticks out then the short occurs when closing the display screen on that right side. So to make sure the inside/bottom metal shield of the display screen is not shorting the connection, I placed a little piece of electrical tape to cover that exposed ribbon cable but also tried to straighten out that ribbon cable to have it be pushed in straighter when the bottom inside of the display screen forces it down. Had to re-open & re-close the display screen & also reposition the exposed ribbon cable & then reapply the electrical tape a few times to get the ribbon cable to be in a better position to then be forced down correctly to push the ribbon cable into place for the iPhone to completely turn on without immediately shutting back down. What I found with installing replacement batteries on iPhones for myself & family is that the ribbon cable can always be a pinch too long & may have to be forced into place after you connect it. However this is the first time when I had this shutdown problem where the ribbon cable somehow gets an electrical short after closing up the display screen. Fortunately it did not kill the iPhone. Yes I am thankful that I was able to diagnose the issue here -- BUT I'm giving only a generous THREE-STARS for this review. So yes thank you to Amazon for a battery that works -- although really NO THANKS to XYIRMCYF for the quirky ribbon connection cable on this battery.

Battery works as described
Battery was as described, working properly. Will buy from this seller again. I was wrong on previous review; I have two S4s and I rated the wrong one. Battery from this seller works great.

Do Not Buy – Failed Quickly
I bought this battery for my iPhone 11 back in December, and it’s already dead by May. Within the first two months, I noticed occasional overheating, which was concerning. Now, just five months in, the battery won’t even charge at all. Very disappointed with the quality and reliability. Would not recommend. Save yourself the trouble.
