THIS!!!!!! is exactly what I needed. No frills, no thrills, just a solution to a much needed problem. This allowed me to connect the 3.5mm output from my computer monitor directly to the optical port of my soundbar with using the extra cable that was generously included. So far so good!

I works like a charm. It made my older Yamaha soundbar work great with my iPod. Now I have a sweet sound system in my garage AND with a added subwoofer!

This did not work very well at all. There is a lot of audio loss in the conversion - to the point that it doesn't sound right at all. It's as if you are listening to music coming from the opposite end of a hospital in a video game. Not clear. Not crisp. Although it may have been easy to set up and compatible per the description, it simply isn't worth a dollar.

Product worked fine, but the input to my receiver wasn't working. Would suggest this one over the others as the wires are already tied together in the little box.

This worked perfect to convert my 3.5 audio out on a record player to optical input for my sound bar, that way the sound isn't degraded or compressed by bluetooth.

An excellent quality (to my ears) analog audio to digital Toslink converter. Includes USB cord for powering but no power supply. Available with either 1/8” phono plug or RCA inputs to avoid the use of adaptors. Am using as a protective link between a modern player piano accompaniment output and a miniDSP (digital sound processor) that drives the various loudspeakers. Both the player piano controller and the miniDSP are sensitive and expensive and this method prevents an electrical problem with in one system from harming the other. Totally plug-and-play with no setup or adjustments required. The digital output [seems] to have an extremely similar if not exact same amplitude as the analog original. For some unknown reason the Toslink output of my player piano is disabled when an accessory input supplied by the maker is installed so I was forced to add this component for equipment protection purposes. Analog-to-digital converters of this sort are not easy to find. This one [seems] to work perfectly. One note of caution: The power connection is a common size that in my experience is most generally used for 12V-24V power supplies and not well filtered 5VDC as provided by proper USB power sources. My application (a player grand piano with an extensive accompaniment system) has a surprising number of small low-voltage devices attached beneath where like the piano literally everything is black. During final installation and "cleanup" I accidentally connected it to a 12VDC source and it was instantly ruined yet continued to overheat to the point that it may well have begun to melt. Fortunately the very expensive device that got it's 5V USB connection was not damaged.

Parfait pour une télé qui ne possède pas de branchement adéquat, j'ai pris le boîtier pour brancher ma barre de son. Simple à installer et fonctionne sans soucis , pas de perte de son.

Justo lo que necesitaba. Funciona perfectamente y ademas al alimentarse por usb lo puedo conectar al mismo reproductor. Igualmente incluye adaptador DC.

No issues at all, needed this as I bought a soundbar which has optical connection only and use a gaming monitor with VRR which has 3.5mm out only for audio. Xbox series x has no optical out and when using a HDMI audio extractor you would lose the ability to use VRR (Variable refresh rate) which is what i experienced and couldn't get used to the downgrade. With this item i am now able to connect the xbox directly to the monitor with a HDMI cable to keep VRR and I use the linkfor adapter to connect from the 3.5mm out of the monitor to the optical in on soundbar so really happy about that as if you've tried gaming with VRR and without there is a noticeable difference with framerate drops and stuttering. Easy to set up, sound quality is unaffected and cable length is good.

Ne ho presi due, uno per il proiettore ed uno per un vecchio televisore a led che ha come unica uscita audio il jack da 3,5 mm. In confezione c'è tutto il necessario per fare i collegamenti ed il cavo ottico in dotazione è anche abbastanza robusto e spesso. Con questo accessorio ho rimesso in funzione un vecchio televisore ed un sistema 3.1 di casse che non utilizzavo più, così finalmente la sera, mentre mio figlio gioca alla PS5 sul televisore grande (quello buono), io e mia moglie ci possiamo vedere un po' di serie tv sul secondo televisore.
