We got the large ones. Our purple pincher is like 4x as big as the one in the pic but didn’t realize that til after they came. If your starter, small crab has molted several times and sized up shells multiple times, will probably need the large ones. Crab barely uses the little plastic mesh to climb in and out, usually just climbs over the side. It is deep enough for it, though. Comfortably holds 2 sponges for the drinking water one. There are two different sizes of the mesh ladders pieces. I accidentally did the same size together but still worked fine. Pic shows the two larger ones connected bec there were no instructions. Comes with 2 zip ties for each to connect them together. They do take up a decent amount of space so make sure it’s a larger crabitat. Cleanup is easy and it doesn’t dry out as fast as smaller containers.

These are great. The crabs love them and u can watch them in the water. Only downside if you have a smaller tank they do take up a decent chunk of space.
