Not for everyone. I love the taste and the smell. The quality was as I remembered many years ago. I bought these as a try from what I remembered some years ago. It was as if I traveled back in time. I totally enjoyed the clove spice original.

Does not taste like the old school cloves.

i absolutely love these. i am a stress hitter on these and they help TONS for me. i love the cherry taste and i love the scent of them and how my lips end up with a little cherry flavor after also, almost like i am wearing a cherry flavored lip balm but not strong. one pack lasted me 2 months and i am now down to my last cigarette. i used to smoke in high school with my friends back in the day and quit when i suspected i was pregnant with my first and hadn't touched them since until february this year, but regular cigarettes mess with my asthma and i get sick but these don't bother my breathing or anything and i can enjoy a stress smoke without having to think much about the rest. even my 11 year old daughter can go out with me when i light one of these up and not have an issue as she's my only child with severe breathing issues out of my 5. for me, they are definitely worth the money as i don't chain smoke or smoke often.

I know it isn't the 90s anymore, but the old kreteks were enjoyable. These, nto so much. I thought there would be a cherry flavor. I get just a hint, and I miss the extra flavor the old paper used to leave in my lips. Still slightly enjoyable for the price.

I bought these for the nostalgia. *I wasn't expecting old school clove ciggies.* Being a Dyed in the wool proto-goth, I miss the je ne sais quoi of smoking cloves. The current cigar store blend isn't "it". Neither is this... BUT *this* doesn't have the nicotine. They are lighter to smoke and thinner. 20 to a pack with two "zones" like the old packs. They smoke a bit faster than the cigarillos. The taste isn't there. Not sure if I received old product or what. I'll report back after a few more smokes. I got ruby, black and special. We shall see. Im looking forward to seeing how it roll with them after are few weeks after the nicotine cravings are out of my system. I want the enjoyment of the occasional ritual without the nic.

I smoked for 30 plus years, but finally gave it up 8 years ago. I feel great and look better, but I miss the pleasure from the act of smoking. I bought these just to see if they would scratch that itch for me. I was pleasantly surprised. Smooth, normal burn time, gentle on my throat and lungs, and very satisfying. For me anyway... I can't speak for everyone. I am glad I am not feeding my addiction to nicotine, but can still enjoy the occasional smoke for smoking's sake.

I bought my first Djarum Black clove cigarettes from a real cigarette girl in the Skybar at the top of the Mondrian hotel on Sunset Blvd. in LA, in the late 90’s. I was hooked. I loved those clove cigarettes -full stop:-) Needless to say that I was extremely disappointed when all flavored cigarettes, including cloves were discontinued in the US out of concern for the possibility of underage people smoking and also changing the the only cloves available into cigars, which were bigger, harsher, and came in a box of only 10 instead of 20. Why the government would decide to make an item meant for adults unavailable because children might use them is for another discussion.. However, I am very happy that the Djarum Black Bliss has brought the Djarum Black clove cigarettes back and with a Vengeance. They are Wonderful! I can’t understand the bad reviews & honestly - What were you people expecting ? Also, the Ruby & Ivory are Stellar:-)

No flavor at all. Is it really cloves?
