Why did we buy it - We moved to a very dusty, thatched property which started to cause problems for my wife - an asthma sufferer.Overall - Within a couple of days of switching on the purifier she stopped having to use her inhaler, so this clearly works. The mass of floating particles, visible under ceiling spotlights, was also decreased to just a few specks and dust accumulating on surfaces has fallen significantly.How it works - A fan blows directly upwards and draws in air through slits low down around the side of the unit. There is a large filter inside that removes suspended air particles.Size - On reflection I am not sure I needed to get the 6000 version which is about the size and shape of a 60l kitchen pedal bin. It's not something that you can conceal in a room. That said, because it is handling larger volumes of air than a small unit, it is not necessary to have the fan running at its maximum which means noise and stress on the motor are minimised.Noise - At full speed the fan creates a lot of air movement so it's understandably noisy but not as loud as a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer. It takes so little time to reduce the dust that it really only works at full power for very short bursts. On its lower settings it is very, very quiet and the lowest speed with the nighttime setting, you can only tell it is working by putting your hand over the top to feel the air movement.Weight - Despite its size the purifier is quite light. It doesn't have a carry handle though so moving it around is not as easy as it could be.Operation - It is easy to use. The controls are on the top and digital, touch-sensitive. The automatic setting reacts to the amount of dust or gases and the fan speeds up or slows down accordingly. You can override the automatic setting to control the fan speed. Air quality and humidity are displayed and LED lights indicate the air quality - from red, poor, through orange and purple to blue, excellent. There is also a nighttime setting which shuts off the lights and display.What would have been better - A remote control would have helped and a carry handle, otherwise nothing.

What I like about this Bosch a purifier is that it is easy to use and set up When an auto mode it is very quiet. We got it because my wife suffers with bronco infections and starts coughing when imputed or dusty atmosphere. The purifier has easy to understand colour coding for the purity of clinic every day displays percentage of plants or parts particles display. Amazing colouri ring around the edge of your assembly and this easy shows how good the air quality is with blue being very good and red being very bad. As soon as we started using it, we noticed how cleaner there seemed. we moved it from room to room and clean air before we use that room. The purifier has a HEPA filter feature to it and there is a display on the capacity of the filter so you can easily see when it needs replacing. bimbos. Being BOSCH the quality is very good.I highly recommend the simple to use that brilliant purifier

Good size and sleek design. I have been looking for a good quality air purifier, as I have multiple dogs in the home. This has significantly helped with the control of dust and I can see it working when I cook. I haven't used all the functions yet, but the auto-function works well to detect the quality of air. I am hoping through continued use, I will have less dust flying around. It has already made a difference in my allergies.

I have owned the product for four months prior to writing this reviewThe air filter is easy to use and i set the thing up out the box in less than 10 minutes.The filter comes with a laminated card with the instructions on it, i recommend keeping this near the filter so you know what to press when you first get it.The night mode makes the filter near silent and disables all lights so you can run it when your sleeping, i have done this for the last four months and i am a very light sleeper. The filter hasn't been audible to me at allMy concern when buying this was that the filter would need replacing often making it an expensive option. I had to clean my filter today (due to a caution on the screen) for the first time in four months of useWearing a mask i took the filter into my back garden and used an air duster to clean it, the whole process took less than 5 minutes and the result was that the filter looked brand new.In environments where there is humidity or dirt i can see the filter being soiled and needing replacing more often, for that sort of environment i would recommend getting a more commercial product however for my use (a bedroom in a old building) it works perfectly and the filter is pristine after being air dusted.In summary the product is ideal for residential use and i would recommend it, dont forget to get a air duster to clean the filter with

A nice looking product doesn’t take up to much room and very quite when on .

Quiet, shows temp and humidity. Can sense burnt toast from a room away. Has reduced dust on TV and furniture from nearby log fire by 95%I just hoover out the filter and will continue to do so. I imagine I’ll only change it when significantly discoloured.Recommended, quality item
