Super cute!
Started reading on the recommendation of a friend quite late at night and couldn't put it down... finished at 2.40am. Loved the characters and the chemistry between the couple just so adorable!

An easy way to spend a few hours when sick
I really enjoyed The Cheat Sheet from the same author but while this book was an easy way to spend the time while I was sick in bed, it wasn’t as good.

Loved it
This book was a lot of firsts for me: my first book by Sarah Adams; my first closed door romance and my very first rom-com. This was one of the first books that I saw when I joined bookstagram and I knew that I needed to own it. It took me a while to get to it in my tbr but now I'm mad that I didn't read it sooner. Cooper is amazing and so is Lucy and I absolutely adore her son. After reading this, I immediately purchased the second book in the series and I can't wait to get through that one soon!

Good read
In all it was a good book but if felt to me a bit too dragged out. I liked Cooper as a character and Lucy was funny as well. There were some comic moments, loving moments and silly moments that enriched the story. It's worth a read but not one of my favourites of this writer.

Hilarious Romantic Comedy
This book is great! The main character was funny, energetic, relatable and just very goofy that I enjoyed every second of it. It was a great laugh and love story. So glad it continues into the future!

Quick read and funny!
I've enjoyed all of the books I've read by Sarah Adams so far. Though I felt this one was less believable (a perfectly scultped male finding a quirky single mom to be desirable just seems not very likely to me), I really did love it. It actually made me laugh out loud - which I find difficult to do with most books. I also never wanted to put it down - the story moved along perfectly and kept my attention. Great read!

Genius
Sarah Adams is a genius. I love her writing so dearly, I'm so glad to have found it!! The first book I read of hers was the Cheat Sheet, and when I fell in love with it, of course I had to read all the others! Her writing will make you laugh, cry, tear up and feel all the butterflies.

Solid, Wholesome Romance
I really enjoy Sarah Adams’ writing. It’s funny and gripping, not to mention filled with emotion and romance. It’s a closed door romance, so the most “action” you will read about is a heated kiss, but that didn’t bother me at all. The character development and romantic progression was enough for me.Cooper was a great character. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone couldn’t like him. I enjoyed Lucy‘s quirkiness, but I can see have some people might find it a little over the top. Either way, they seemed to click and compliment each other.Another reviewer commented on how she didn’t think Lucy was a good mother. I can’t say as I agree with the statement at all. I was worried that I wouldn’t like this book on account of the fact that Lucy might come across as something of an absentee, deadbeat mom, but I didn’t find that at all. Just because she allowed other people, such as her mom, to help care for her child didn’t make me think she loved him any less. Not even remotely.I found this book very satisfying and look forward to reading the next book in the series. :-)

ADORABLE !!!
It seems like Sarah's books never disappoint me !!I am found of rom-com so of course, this book was just perfect to me. I really enjoyed how it was written and how the relationship evolves between the characters. They're really cute together and even when they weren't a couple I found their chemistry really beautiful and sincere.I had a wonderful time going through this story and learn more about each character through the book. Sarah just knows how to write cute romantic comedies and make us smile and laugh while reading !! I can't wait to discover book 2 and see how it goes !If you want to read an adorable rom-com this book is absolutely for you !! I obviously recommend it.

This author is quickly becoming a favorite
This is only my second book read by this author and I already love her style, stories and characters. This one is on my read again list because I enjoyed it that much!!! Let’s start with the charactersLucy- right off the bat she is an INCREDIBLE mom and I automatically felt a kindred spirit to her“I don’t think everyone is meant to have careers that change the world. Sometimes you’ve just gotta pay the bills and then clock out so you can get to the life you love the most, which, for me, is being with Levi.”I mean that right there is me and I loved her for that. She was even willing to let her crush on Cooper go if he had no interest in hanging with her and her son. She was down to earth, funny, insecure,a fantastic mom and a little quirky (did I mention she’s a kindred soul 😉)Then there’s Cooper, I totally fell for this guy. He was kind, honest, loyal, fun, and totally head over heels for Lucy. He approached her brother about liking her and was quickly shot down. Cooper cares for Drew and really values their friendship so he decides to prove himself. Prove that he’s loyal, wants a commitment and can be everything Lucy needs. Of course they don’t last. Don’t get me wrong they don’t fall into bed together but he also decides he can’t wait and plays it straight with her brother. Such a great guy. One of my favorite moments that shows his character and strength is when he’s standing up to her sons father. Brent has basically been keeping her on the sidelines, stringing her along for years but not ready for a commitment so instead he plays with her feelings. Until Coop“‘you weren’t counting on me coming along and seeing that a woman like Lucy is not plan B. She’s the one you work your butt off to try to come even close to deserving and still know at the end of the day she’s only with you because you’re lucky. Like it or not, I’m here for Lucy as long as she’ll let me be in her life, so you need to knock it off with the rude comments. As for Levi, you sure as h$!! better believe I’m going to take care of him.’ Cooper’s head tilts slightly to the side after his breathtaking monologue, and he turns remorseful eyes to me. ‘Uh…sorry about the language, Luce. I’m working on it so it doesn’t slip around Levi so much. I’ll get better.’”With takes us into how he handles and interacts with her son Levi. Which needless to say is incredible. He loves that boy instantly. This was seriously such a good read!!!! The worst part about this book is that it’s the first in the series and I have to wait for the next one!
