340 MHZ Frequency Garage Door Opener Remote Control Transmitter

After losing my remote for my old Over Head Door opener I called multiple representatives and was told that they didn't have any 340mhz remotes anymore. They said even if i could find one it won't work with my 2023 Subaru Outback HomeLink. They also said aftermarket remotes won't work at all. So what did I have to lose when I decided to try this Heddolf remote. If it didn't work, I'd just return it. Well once I put in the code to correspond with the dip switches on my Over Head Mod: 55A, it worked perfectly! Not only that, but then I programmed the HomeLink in my Suby with it! I'm happy, but the garage door installer isn't. Sorry Over Head, but you didn't trick me into having you install a replacement opener. Other reviews said the range wasn't the best. I found it to be just fine. Especially now that I'm using the Suby HomeLink.

If your using an 45A opener search out how to interpret the 9 wire sequence which interprest directly to the dip switch selection on the transmitter. Hint: the green wire is Number 1 on the dip switches. Also the center row is closer to the left hand row. that center row is + and the right hand row is - and any cut wire is 0

This remote works really well and is very light. It works for my overhead door system. It has a short range. I have to pull up to my garage door in order for it to open it but that is ok since it does what I need it to do.

Tested and works on 340MHz. Tested my old remote and my frequency is not the same. OVERHEAD DOOR does not state frequency in manual. Only code. I had to scan with RF detector to find it and no one has my modal that will transmit on my needed frequency. It does have the same number of dip-switches, but did not work for my garage door Original 1921 OVERHEAD DOOR remote brand opener.

Works like a champ on my two old Safe Guard garage door openers dating from the 1980s. My two Safe Guard units have the frequency (340 MHz) printed on them, so I was easily able to get the remote control with the correct frequency. Works reliably from 100 feet away...perfect! And the new remote is much more compact than the original Safe Guard remotes. For one opener for which the original SafeGuard remote was lost, I just opened the little receiver box that is attached to the outside of the opener motor housing and noted the dipswitch positions. I duplicated them in the new remote, and I was immediately up and running with an operational remote for that door.Highly recommended for these old door openers that require this remote technology!

Very weak signal even after changing battery. It work maybe 1 out of 5 times. I thought it was a battery so by the time I got a new battery it was already after return period. The seller refused to accept returns or no option to have it exchanged. Avoid this seller.

Bought 2 & one faulty.Returned it. Did not give full refund. It was their devise that was bad. Should have got full refund. They're greedy. Plus the one I kept, you have to get right up to the garage door to open it. And yes I checked the battery.

Very happy with the compact design and very handy to have at the backdoor. Works great.
