Any Industrial Mechanics use this, how do larger wrenches fit in the pockets, say like wrenches up to 1 1/8, how deep are the pockets in the back?

I found the Klein backpack to be too small. I'm an electrician in NYC ... IBEW local union 3. I use this instead: CLC Custom Leathercraft L255 Tech Gear 53 Pocket Lighted Back Pack , Black It holds more tools plus my kneepads. What I put in the CLC backpack, I couldn't get half of it into the Klein backpack. The CLC backpack weighs, with my tools, 36 pounds. The CLC backpack has nice wide shoulder straps that distribute the weight evenly across my shoulders and back. The CLC backpack holds up against daily abuse and punishment that's available on any construction site. It's superior in every way to the Klein backpack.

Will this bag fit a long screwdriver about 24-30”? Maybe on the side?

Yes it can in the bag might need to angle it if over 24 inches

what is the total interior volume including the molded pockets? I need to carry all standard electrical tools along some mechanics tools.

I don’t know exact volume measurement but you can fit all electrical and still have room for other tools
