Good product and nice build and fit. It seems bit over priced.

The pads are not fitting properly

Direct replacement from Sennheiser. They were easy to put on the unit.

Just put these on and so far they are working perfectly. A bit tedious to put on but the helpful videos and instructions made a big difference. Nice to see a product like this work and extend the life of a somewhat expensive set of headphones.

Didn't fit that well to my Senheizers and were difficult to attach

They fit perfectly around my headphones

I’ve been using a pair of 2017 Sennheiser HD 4.40BT headphones for a while now. Like most headphones, the earpads eventually wear out after regular use. My first replacement pads worked perfectly, and even after a couple of years, still looked new. However, the left pad was recently damaged requiring replacement. The Brainwavz on-ear replacement earpads arrived in a simple, sealed frosted plastic bag. Upon opening it, I noticed oval-shaped stains on the packaging, possibly caused by residual dye or coloring from the pads themselves (see photos). This immediately raised concerns about the overall quality, the materials used, or whether the dye might fade or transfer onto my skin during use. Since it’s only been a few days, only time will tell. Visually, the earpads appear nearly identical to both my previous replacements and original OEM pads. The color-black and shape matches perfectly. The material consists of soft foam and PU vegan leather, closely comparable to the faux leather used on my prior replacements. Most importantly, the Brainwavz earpads feel well-made and solid, offering plenty of cushion, with the cups ear placement fitting snugly and comfortably over my ears. Although the 4.40BT's do not have ANC active noise cancellation features, these earpads are comparable to OEM and do a great job in passive isolation maintaining good quality sound Sennheiser is known for. While the product listing describes installation as easy, it can initially feel a bit tricky because of the headphone design - not the earpads itself. Once you get the earpad lip properly seated into the headphone’s mounting groove, without force, the remainder of the installation becomes much easier and straightforward. Overall, these earpads fit and look great! However, whether it was a simple packaging issue or something more, the visible dye raised quality concerns. Lastly, I do question the value of this product - given that these currently cost nearly double compared to my previous replacements - still listed.
