This dictionary is perfect, my cousin really loves it. I went through the pages and to see that a child won’t be confused is so satisfying

Good portable size Spanish-English and English-Spanish dictionary to put in my backpack for Spanish class. Yes you can use your phone but unfortunately words are often incorrect when looked up on the internet because the translation does not take the context into consideration. So it is very handy to have a dictionary. It also contains a list of verb conjugations and other useful lists. I highly recommend and its value priced.

Exactly what my son needed for class. A great companion to have when you're learning Spanish to English.

Easy explanation and reads well

Excellent and, like the 501 Spanish Verbs, much better than the older editions that I suffered with for 40+ years (until they started coming apart at the spine). Slightly larger (just enough to give it some "grip" so it's not constantly trying to snap shut on you), but still convenient to handle and store; also better content, layout and typography. Nice!

とても良い辞書です。スペイン語辞書は、西日ではなく西英を使った方が、効率的に学べます。その前提のうえで、この辞書の良いところを書き出すと、 １．安いこと。たった1000円で西英・英西辞典が買えます。 ２．サイズが良いこと。よくあるハンディ版の辞書は小さすぎて文字も小さくなりがち。この辞書は、大きすぎず小さすぎず、文字も見やすいです。 ３．単語数が多すぎない。調べたい単語を探すときには、使いもしないような単語の山はないほうが探しやすい。単語数は、必要最小限がよい。（それでも４万語以上載っているので心配無用) 初学者には、必要にして十分な良い辞書です。お勧めします。 （留意点） スペイン人の先生から、「スペイン人はこんな単語は使わない。これを使うのはラテンアメリカ人だ。」と言われることがあります。例えば、angryのスペイン語訳は、第１訳がenojado、第２訳がenfadado。スペイン本国で使うのは第２訳の方で、スペイン語の辞書にもかかわらずスペイン本国で使われている単語が第１訳になっていないことがご不満のようです。 思うに、この辞書はアメリカで出版されたものなのですが、アメリカ人が必要とするスペイン語は、スペイン本国の言葉そのものでなく、アメリカ人の生活圏にいるメキシコ人等が話すスペイン語であろうと思われます。したがって、アメリカ発の教材は須らくそうなっているのでしょう。 ちなみにイギリス発行の辞書（Oxford等）がどうなっているのかは、見ていないのでわかりません。
