Got my Stick and it wouldn't take a charge, nor would the light work after turning on once, then it popped off-- forever! I contacted the Stick People and they were very prompt and attentive to my issues. We had a thorough exchange, trying to pinpoint the problem. After determining that it just wasn't working, they sent a replacement one out immediately (thank you, Stick People!) The new one soon arrived and it's a wonderful walking Stick! Very cool that you can pop in a little fan right at the top to provide a li'l breeze. The solar panel can charge it while you're out in the sun, even in bright light as the blue charging light is often lit. It's a nice weight, not too heavy, and not light where it feels flimsy or "cheap", and the light works very well. I love that it also has a little bag w/a shoulder strap you can fit the Stick into once you retract the tip all the way. My S.O. and I searched many walking sticks and hiking poles before choosing The Stick for all these features. The USB port at the top can charge your phone should you need it. It's not superfast but it will definitely save your device from certain battery death! I feel confident that a charged up Stick is going to save us from any unexpected e-jams we may encounter while out hiking and on walks. We are extremely happy with our Stick and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great walking stick that can give you some stability, protection, and charging ability away from any outlets. In this day of rush-rush "instantness", it's so refreshing to engage with a company not treating you like you're one of many on an assembly line. This is a nice tactical walking stick made of metal. It has a solid build with a good heft to cause injury, It has one set of bright LED lights and one set of flashing blue and red distress lights. The bottom has a pair of high voltage prongs that work as a stun gun. The stick pushes down to 3 ft and more than 5' when extended. It has convenient charge ports. I think it's a good tool to have against wild animals, stray dogs, etc. Looks nice too!

Works as it should, the lights are very bright the tripod is well made and sturdy. I like the fact it charges with solar as well as being plugged in. It has multiple tips for differant terrain and the shocking tip works great even the sound of it is scary and should help deter a smaller animal such as coyote from attacking. This will be with me on all my camping and hiking trips.

I checked everything, and it appears to work great. Wasn’t expecting the fan to be that powerful or the light so bright. Customer Service is on top of it answer questions faster than I expected. I bought the SmartstickX as a gift for my elderly father, and it has been one of the best purchases I’ve made. I was looking for a tactical walking stick but then Amazon recommended this. Smart stick also comes in a great packaging. Makes it perfect for a gift. He goes on daily walks, and this stick gives both of us peace of mind. The T-shape Handle is a must for better grip. The built-in LED light is very bright, it’s enough to light his path in the evening, and the added safety features, like the stun gun function, make him feel more secure when he's out alone. He also loves how sturdy and comfortable it feels. The charging port is a great bonus too he can keep his phone powered up while he's out. It even comes with a tripod, which he uses while resting during hikes or whenever he goes camping. This isn’t just a walking stick it’s a high-tech support system. Highly recommend it for seniors who want to stay active and independent, safely.
