These plates are so awesome. I bought these for my cat. I was looking for microwaveable ceramic plates, that were bigger than what they sell for cats. Actually, the plates they sell for cats, are more like bowls. The vendors always say that their plates(bowls) don't cause whisker fatigue, but they must, because the edges of most of their plates are too high. Anyway, these are perfect for dry food for my cat. Being that the plates are 8 inches, I can spread out his kibble and he will eat a lot slower, therefore, no vomiting. Also, the dry food doesn't roll off the plate, therefore, there is no dry food all over my kitchen floor. He has eaten dry food from them already, and I can tell the difference in the way he eats. I think he definitely approves of these plates. Also, these plates are large enough, that I can feed him wet food from them, too. His bowls, that I feed him wet food in now, supposedly don't cause whisker fatigue, but there is no way that is possible... the height of the side of his bowls, that he eats from now, is 1.5 inches. That is high. I can't wait till he eats his wet food off one of these plates, because I know he is going to enjoy it so much better. There will be plenty of room for him to eat off of, and those straight sides on the plate, will keep any wet food that spreads out, off of the floor. He doesn't have to stick his head in a bowl. Anyway, these plates themselves are beautiful. The glaze is very nice(nice glossy finish), and I bought the neutral colors(which are all beautiful colors). The thickness of them is awesome. They are heavy duty. They wash up beautifully, and quickly, by hand. They dry nicely. They are just an overall great buy. And I definitely want to make this one point, that these plates are lead free. If you bought these for your dog or cat, nothing toxic is going to leach into their food. Also, the surface of these plates are very smooth... No pitting, so therefore, my cat couldn't cut his tongue on the plate if he was licking it. Anyway, these plates are a steal for $40.00. I highly recommend this product.

I love this Mora ceramic flat plates set. The 8-inch size is incredibly versatile- perfect for breakfast, lunch, desserts, or small meals. The plates have a clean, modern look and make food look beautifully presented. The ceramic feels smooth and high quality, and the plates are sturdy without being heavy. They stack well, clean easily, and have held up great with regular use. I also appreciate how comfortable they feel in your hands. These plates are practical for everyday use but nice enough for entertaining. I’m very happy with this set and would definitely recommend them.

We ordered these plates after staying at an Air BNB last Christmas. These plates are absolutely amazing. they are surprisingly efficient for any and all types of meals and are sized perfectly. The food does not run together if you have multiple foods. These do not chip or scratch. The weight is heavier than some other plates--and I have limited mobility in my hands--however, these are still now my go-to for life for plates as I have never dropped one of these, they are easier to hold (despite being heavier), and they do not easily spill. They are very pretty and they "look" nice. You can use these plates for anything. They are also very easy to clean. Very pleased with this purchase and also purchased the larger plates of this same style and brand.

Gorgeous, solid plates. They are so beautiful and a great size for meals. The lip is so functional and makes it easier to get the last bite and keeps things from sliding off the edge. I really love these chic, and high quality plates.

I have the bigger plates and just got the smaller one. They are very nice and sturdy and most of all beautiful.

These are lovely, sturdy and work wonderfully as an all purpose dish for everyday and for company- lots of versatility. These are also a great size so they can easily be used as a salad/side plate but can also be used to plate a smaller portion meal. I love the speckles in the glaze and they feel as close to handmade pottery as you can get with something mass produced.

Wow, if it were possible to leave more than 5 stars I certainly would. Beautiful plates. I purchased the 8 inch and the 10.5 inch plates. I was not expecting this level of quality for this price. I love the look and feel of them. The colors are soft and calming. The packaging was done with care and thoughtfulness. AND it’s a woman owned business. For all those reasons and more I will be purchasing more products from Mora. Even the box had such a sweet sentiment printed on it. It is a pleasure to have these in my home.
