I’ve had several different pumps for my 10 gallon tank for my one large goldfish and always had trouble keeping it looking clean and bright. This pump took a little over a week to actually get the tank looking clean but once it did it stayed that way so I’m delighted with it. Plus it includes the air supply so it does everything in one. It is also very quiet. It was very easy to install, especially for someone like me who knows nothing about keeping fish.

Look I have owned a red-eared slider since I was 7 years old I am 37 now I have gone through multiple tanks multiple filters heat lamps I have done it all we recently got him a bigger tank the biggest he's ever been in 75 gallons in the filter I had was just not cutting it and every filter I looked for was just not cutting it so I purchased this and put it in the tank and it took maybe three maybe five days and I have never in my life seen such clear water do not hesitate at all buying this product it works so well cuz if you know one thing about red ear sliders is that they are filthy

I recently installed the Coospider Repta 200GPH Aquarium Filter with UV feature in my 55-gallon tank, and I couldn’t be more pleased with its performance! This filter has been an absolute game changer for maintaining the health and clarity of my aquarium. First off, the pump works exceptionally well. It delivers a steady flow of water, which is vital for creating good water circulation and ensuring that my fish and plants are thriving. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall water quality since I started using this filter. It effectively removes debris and keeps the water moving, which is essential for my aquatic environment. One of the standout features of this filter is the UV sterilization. I can confidently say that it has kept my tank crystal clear! Ever since I added the Coospider Repta filter, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in algae growth and any suspended particles. The water looks vibrant and healthy, making it a joy to look at. My fish seem happier too, swimming around in such a pristine environment. Installation was straightforward, and the unit itself is compact enough to fit nicely in my tank without taking up too much space. Update 12/11/2024: The pump did its job great at first. However I noticed the flow had stopped from the pump. The motor has completely stopped working after only 4 months of use. No blockages or anything. We have always maintained and cleaned the unit per the instructions. I was really impressed while it was working as our tank was very pristine. But for the motor to stop working after only 4 months is a huge concern. I would advise to look elsewhere as this seems to be a dud. Update 12/14/2024. Customer service was prompt in returning my inquiry for support. I was notified a replacement unit will be sent out shortly. Will update accordingly. May 2025. We did receive a replacement unit. 4 months later it has already failed. The light has stopped working in only a few months. The second unit we had purchase the pump has failed. Two units and both failed in less than a few months. Huge disappointment. Absolutely do not recommend. Extreme poor quality.

This was kinda hard for me to figure it all out, took me about 3 hours to get it right. But that can also be because this is my first time using a canister filter. The pipe tubing tends to kink a lot and it makes it harder for the filter to even start. Had to make adjustments just for it to work on my 20 gallon long baby turtle tank, used this filter because when it comes to turtles it’s best to have a stronger filter, even more so when you have fish in with the turtle. So far works good, hopefully it last me awhile even with every tank update my turtle would have throughout its life time. I will update if anything bad happens with the filter. And hopefully it’s not a pain in the back for anyone else to put together like it was for me.

bought back in august of 2025 but recently had to throw away the UV light piece because the cord began wearing out and i didn’t know if it was still safe to use with wires exposed. besides that it’s a great product and still somewhat keeps my turtle’s tank clean even without the UV. definitely doesn’t work as well as it did with the UV but it still filters his uneaten food and with 2x / weekly maintenance my tank still looks great (was doing 1x a week for comparison) water is just a bit cloudy now but overall a good product for the price when all parts are actually in use and it doesn’t take me long to clean it either.

I would give this 4.5 only because it didn't come with any instructions, but my tank is SOOOOA MUCH cleaner now. Our old filter quit working so our water was very cloudy, we have had this new one in for 3 days now and the water is crystal clear.

The UV sterilizer worked well initially—clear water and noticeable improvement in tank health. Unfortunately, the bulb burnt out in less than a month, and that’s where the frustration began. There’s no option to purchase a replacement bulb from the manufacturer, and no guidance on compatible parts. I had to improvise with a bulb that didn’t fit properly, which defeats the purpose of a precision device like this. If you’re going to sell a product with consumable components, there needs to be a clear path for replacement parts. Until that’s addressed, this sterilizer feels more disposable than dependable.

My goldfish tank was struggling with algae bloom (even worse than what’s shown in my picture) and within 1 week of using this filter my tank it got clear. Of course, along with the UV filter it included necessary maintenance: a week of the tank light being off, less feeding, frequent water changes, and changing filters on my tank filter. Despite many differing opinions on whether a UV filter is needed online for algae bloom, I had my doubts but it worked for me and I recommend it along side necessary tank maintenance, not just relying on the filter alone.

The pump I got runs for 20 seconds then it stops…. Any one with advice? The pump is primed, the pipes are the correct length no kinks.

Is not good is starting work for 30 sec then stop for another 10 min

This filter is for the aquarium market in the US only due to the electric safety issues ie the voltage needed is lower than the uk Plug it in and blow the fuse and some smoke on unit You should have a warning ⚠️ to say USA 🇺🇸 Only

Top electrical circuit board has popped of & water entered seal after turning on - twice. Instructions followed both times & happened twice.

Probably not suitable for the UAE… it stopped working after just a few minutes.
