Great mirrors, great service
BLUF (bottom line up front): these mirrors fit perfectly, are heavy and solid, and have a better field of vision that even the best of factory HD mirrors. The chrome initially appears to look better than factory HD chrome. I received these mirrors 2 days after I ordered them online. 5 stars for product and service. I bought these mirrors to replace factory HD mirrors on an '08 FLHTCUSE that came factory equipped with a lot of chromed billet aluminum bling parts. My experience with HD chrome (and I have 2 decades of experience as such) has NOT been good. Their chrome process is poor resulting in pitting chrome and on billet items, flaking off in quarter sized sheets. HD initially replaced a number of parts but once the factory warranty expired, I was on my own. I take fanatic care of that bike in every respect, including keeping it covered (breathable cover so as not to contain any possible moisture) in a climate controlled garage. I keep all chrome waxed and polished, especially after each ride in damp or humid weather. The chrome still pits and flakes off. HD will never make another penny off me in terms of a new bike or any accessories or equipment - I will go strictly aftermarket. These mirrors were a good start.

Good mirrors, beefy
I bought these mirrors to replace the stock metal/plastic mirrors on my 2005 vtx1300s. These mirrors are way better than the stock ones. Clearer mirrors, beefy frame, and a decent look to them. I should have read the description more clearly as I only ordered one, because I assumed it came with a pair. It does not. If you want two, you must order two, as they are reversible for use on either side. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase.

Fits both sides, no vibration, clear view.
Much better than the OEM mirrors on my Indian Chieftain. Yes, the mirror is reversible; you can screw the mirror itself into either side of the stalk, so it's left-or-right. Good rear view: I have the convex ones but they aren't distorted. Occasionally my left mirror comes loose where the stalk meets the adapter (that screws into the actual mirror perch). The one I purchased on Amazon was a replacement, because I dropped the mirror on the shop floor while removing the clutch cable to lube it. That cracked the mirror in several pieces, but at least all the pieces stayed in while I rode 1,300mi home from an event. Zero vibration distortion on my particular bike, so long as you torque everything properly. They're pricey for what you get, but most stylized mirrors are. If you want cheap mirrors, they are out there and often work well. I like to check my six a lot though, so I like to know my mirrors are going to last and give a wide rear view, an these mirrors do.

Best Bike Investment Ever
I don't normally write reviews, but I know riders have a difficult time finding the right gear online that meets their expectations. So here are my thoughts on this product: I wanted mirrors on my Harley that would show more of what's behind me. The stock mirrors were inadequate. I was either looking at my elbows or having to lean over to see traffic behind me. When I'm' buzzing down the freeway at 80+mph, I need to make situational decisions pretty quickly. In my book form follows function. I wanted an improvement on my stock mirrors, and didn't want pretentious bad-a mirrors that were even worse than stock. I researched as much as I could online, but you never really know until you put the things on, you know? So here's what I know. These mirrors are a huge improvement over stock. Huge. They sit a little lower and do stick out a little farther. It's a bit weird getting used to that, but one glance instead of three to see everything behind you is awesome. The mirror quality is excellent; convex is the way to go. The stalks are good looking in my opinion, and it's Kuryakyn quality all the way. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the mirrors wouldn't thread properly & I had to send it back. Amazon overnighted me a replacement though. If you want high quality high preforming mirrors, buy these.

Very vibration prone in my application
I have a VStar 1100 with standard handlebars. I replaced my OEM mirrors after 16 (SIXTEEN!!) years and went with these because it seemed that I'd have better rear view. Well, the better rear view ain't happening for two reasons, 1) Somehow, even though the mirror area is much better than the Yammys, I can't get the breadth of rear view that the OEMs gave me...cars can sneak up behind me and the "blind spot" is so large you can't trust that glance into the mirror and be sure that there's not a killer cruising in it and 2) they vibrate so much that...well they vibrate enough for any application that requires vibration. At distance, all you see is a smudged blur that might well be a car or a truck or a cow walking across the road behind you. At close range, you feel like you're in some kind of flashback trip. I find it hard to define what kind of car or truck it is behind me. I think that the reason is the long length of the arm allows some harmonics come into play. They look good but perform poorly. For me it's functionality over fashion. Good money poorly spent.

I liked the stye and the fact that they're solid
I liked the stye and the fact that they're solid. I didn't like the fact that I spent all that money on them and they showed up with horrible chroming that had bubbled. Quality control??? I sent them back.

excellent value in a high build mirror and post
The mirror is first class in materials and quality. Fits my Harley perfectly without adapters. I looked at a lot of mirrors as they are critical to riding safety. These are the best out there in quality and an excellent value for the money.

Great set of mirrors for the following: -provide a clear and large rear view of traffic so I see all -match my bike's chrome-on-black look very nicely, without being too shiny -firmly set into place, both the frame as well as the mirror head via the bolts and so far do NOT come loose
