Feit Electric Smart LED Ultrathin Strip Lights

I really like these LEDs, especially how the silicone diffuser makes it look like a rope of lights with no real hot spots to be seen. The LEDs paired well with Home Assistant and can be used through Tuya or Local Tuya just fine, although you cannot individually address each LED if you use it in that mode. Additionally, any of the presets cannot be used when paired with Home Assistant.Home assistant compatibility aside, the LEDs are very bright especially in the white color mode. However, the RGB colors are significantly dimmer than the white colors. The color accuracy is only okay. For example, you get a much more cyan color despite being deep within the green on the color wheel. You instead have to push the green color towards cyan to get a more vibrant green. Not a huge deal, but be aware that some of the colors feel a bit off in that manner. Finally, the segments are reasonable, but I would have appreciated more individually addressable segments than was given for a much more cohesive look.Otherwise, I love the additional lighting these LEDs brought to an otherwise area of my room. They were a breeze to setup and I'm happy with the light they produce

These are nice lights, and they are well-made. I am particularly fond of the Feit app, and the design of the remote and control box for these. It's definitely better than others I've used, and I trust it more since it's an American company, and not some PRC suspicious app. These days, I pretty much refuse to connect anything to my Wifi (or my phone) that's made anywhere but the USA. That was one of the main reasons I got these. I do wish they were a little bit brighter, but they aren't bad. I also wish that the cut lines were more numerous. I had to leave a little extra at the end even through I didn't really want to because of this. I couldn't figure out what to do with the "tail" this created, so I had to wrap it in black electric tape to keep the light from shining through, and then tuck it behind my TV. It's a minor nuisance, but the cut lines should definitely be more numerous, so this and the mild brightness are the reasons I docked 1-star. However, I would get them again, and I do recommend them!

The product mentioned that it was like new and works great. However when I got the item only quarter of the strip was working and the rest of the strip was dark. I attempted to return the item but as per the sellers options, I was able to return and I had to pay for the shipping. Amazon customer service assisted in getting me a credit for the shipping but this is not something I am happy about from this seller.

I initially bought some of these at another retailer for my daughter’s room but when I went to buy some for my son’s room, they were sold out of these this Christmas season.Pros:* Very customizable! The app is very easy to use and works well, even when the account is running on multiple devices.* Simple to install - the built in adhesive sticks to the walls well and it’s forgiving when installing them.* Quality - love that these are a name brand, high quality product. LED light strips are dime a dozen but it’s hard to trust you’re getting a quality product!Cons* Can’t really think of any. Maybe once or twice, we’ve had issues where the lights in my daughter’s room “forgot” our WiFi and we had to re-pair them. But it’s a relatively easy process and hasn’t happened often.* I believe the directions say you can only connect 2 strands of these together - I wish I could connect another 1 or 2 to get all the way around the room.10/10 would buy them again!

xcellent product! Plentiful options for color, temperature, and motion modes. Smart controller and app provide many advanced features. Its basic features integrate with Alexa. Installation was easy with the option to add a second string, or cut to length.CAUTION: no connectors are included. You can plan to cut one string short and later reconnect the scrap piece to extend a different string, However you need to separately order 3 pin 10mm connectors ahead of time.
