Not Just for Jeeps
I've got a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Xj and have a set of Truck-Lite LED headlamps that I just LOVE. Yea, I paid a LOT for them and over the past two years, I don't regret spending the money on them one bit. Until now. These HWDZ lights are pretty darn good. They are rugged, easy to install and illuminate almost as good as the ones on my Jeep XJ. They popped right into this 1974 Ford Pinto. Where other lights may dim when the engine is as low RPM or not running, these are always bright. I can see a LOT better at night. I did have to aim them down quite a bit more than the sealed beam lights, but that was pretty easy. My guess is they will work on just about any car that takes a 7" headlight.

Fits but weird output pattern
I used this instead of the Truck Lite for a custom install on my Harley. It is bright but the light output pattern leaves a large dark gap on low beam. Makes for less than ideal night riding. Unsure what brand I will try next. This will have to do for now. Highbeam works great and fills the road nicely. But I cannot ride all the time with my highbeam on.

Works
Works good nice and bright. But has a shadow in the middle of it from the black bar across the light.

Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's
Excellent deal, half the price of Truck-Lite's. Easy install. Most important thing when converting to these lights is to do a proper aiming job. There are many good guides you can find with Google, the Daniel Stern Lighting guide (google it!) is good. Before I aimed mine properly, I got the "X" pattern you'll hear people complain about, it's because the light is aimed too low. Once properly aimed, the pattern was excellent on the low beam and had great throw on the high beam. High quality, indistinguishable from more expensive similar LED's. Lights shown in the pics below, the fog lights are TTX Lighting 4" 27W LED's, only $14 a pair here on Amazon! Look 'em up.
