My experience was similar to what others have reported. The product initially worked, and when it does, it's extremely useful. However, less than two months later, it is unusable. Although the flow rate metering seems to be still functioning, the temperature reading started to become inaccurate. It was reading 75C for a temperature that was probably only 42C. Ultimately, it's now useless. If you just want a throwaway gadget to help you work out shower usage, that is really the only scenario where it is worthwhile.

I tried to video it after it was running for a few minutes when I realised it was actually working accurately. I had little to no hope of it being anything more than a gimmick but this is something every home should have for sure. Very pleased that it works, and hoping it will act as a deterrent to prevent a certain teenager from spending way too long in the shower. Nothing else has worked so far so fingers crossed he takes notice of this gadget.

I needed this for the water consumption more than the temperature. Both work. I think it's well engineered, easy to install. It appears to be powered by the water pressure itself, so unfortunately doesn't work with mist mode. After few days one of the two broke and the new one I ordered to replace it didn't even turn on, so be aware of the quality, is not great .

Bought a first one which has worked well so far (6 weeks). Bought a second one which stopped giving flow and volume and gave irrelevant temperature within 2 weeks of installing. Such a shame

This shower timer with a flow meter is an excellent tool for saving water and energy. It’s easy to install, accurate, and motivates shorter showers. Perfect for environmentally conscious households or tracking water usage.

Useless. Do not buy! Only operates to min water pressure of 1.5 bar apparently. Severn Trent guarantees mains water pressure to 1 bar only. Anyway, our shower is gravity fed so will not reach even that pressure. Our tank in loft is quite close to shower head (possibly only 6 inches). I wanted to know if we have a flow rate of 4 litres / min or not for either a positive or negative head shower pump installation. Min head distance required by this device between tank and shower not specified. Not suitable for most showers. Scam.

The flow of water powers the device by charging a capacitor. The other reviewers were probably pressing the reset button on the bottom, expecting it to come on… Once water is flowing, it comes to life. Press the reset button when you get in the shower and it’ll measure the water temperature, flow rate and litres used in total. Works like a charm and is helping us keep our shower water usage down. We also use this in conjunction with an adjustable shower flow restrictor to further save water. We’ve gone from 90L per shower to approx 25L. A very useful product. Can’t say how long it’ll last yet but at this price, I’d be happy to replace it when it fails.

Worked for about week and seemed to be accurate, before it eventually started not displaying the water usage, then the temperature was massively over reading, then water was pouring out from the reset button, and then the screen died.
