Regal Trunk & Co.Ceramic Canister with Bamboo Lid, Set of 4 - Tea, Coffee, Sugar, and Biscuit Storage Jars for Kitchen -Containers in Blue and Green - Stylish Ceramic Canisters

All four ceramic canisters arrived in one piece despite being packed in a simple corrugated cardboard box which was literally falling apart at the seams. I just count myself lucky that there was no breakage at all.The canisters have the appearance of builders’ mugs minus the handles and with the addition of bamboo lids. The marbled pattern is attractive and should fit into most modern interiors be it kitchen, bathroom or bedroom.The wooden lid has what looks like a ring of silicone attached to its inner surface. It is the silicone ring that give the airtight fit. Out of my set of four there is one that isn’t as airtight as I would have liked, in fact I would says it’s really quite loose, I can’t work out why this is. My smaller sized hand is able to fit around the lid and can easily pop the lid on and off.Overall attractive nicely sized cannisters, can be used for a variety of purposes.

These are nice jars. The finish is lovely with the marbled ceramic style and I like the contrast of the bamboo lids. However, they're not really suitable as storage jars in the kitchen for all of the things they're suggesting they may be suited to for two reasons.Firstly, the smallest jar is around the size of a coffee mug and the largest jar is not much bigger. This does not make them suitable for storing 'tea, coffee, sugar, spices, oatmeal, pasta, cereals' as the listing images show. That is, unless you want just few large spoonfuls of any one of those to store and you don't mind the inconvenience of constantly topping them up to refill. In saying that, they would actually suit adding a small amount of those things to decant from your main containers and take to the table for guests coming, that kind of thing, but I'm afraid that's about it.The listing information is also contradictory on size as it tells us that the jars are 7.5cm and 10cm tall in the images, but tells us they're 8 inches tall in the written description. As 8 inches is closer to 20cm, there's some discrepency here and if you were expecting the larger jar measurement, then you'd be disappointed. I would hope the listing information can be fixed to show matching size details so you know what to expect.Secondly, the lids are a little loose fitting and I don't think I'd trust them to be air-tight. They're fine for things that don't require this, but I'm not convinced the seals would do enough to keep the air out if that's an important feature for you. I've put things in mine that don't have the same need.I'd say they're much more suited to storing non-food items outside of the kitchen, but at the current price (almost £30 at the time of the review), then I'm afraid I can't recommend these as being good value for money for what they are (even as nice as they are), and this is reflected in the review score.

I requested these canisters because I really like the design but when they arrived, the design is the only thing I like about them.Positives: Arrived well packed in a box. Attractive abstract design, which is on the inside as well as the outside. Good quality ceramics.Negatives: They are far too small to be used for storing biscuits or much else come to that. As you can see from the photos, there are 2 of each size; small and smaller. How many tea bags can you fit in a 3” pot?! The lids don’t fit on securely and can be removed with one hand and little effort. There is no sound or feeling that indicates that the seal is airtight, which sounds a bit odd but usually you can tell if the seal has engaged. Overpriced.I’m disappointed with this product, which I don’t think offers value for money; both in terms of size and being airtight. I was hoping to store rice but neither size is suitable for that. If I had bought this item, I would be returning it so I can’t recommend it.

A very nice set of four ceramic canisters with sealing bamboo lids.Supplied well-protected with rigid cardboard, this 4-piece set consists of a larger and smaller canister with a blue and green marble-effect finish apiece. Relatively (but not excessively) weighty for their modest size, the finish is excellent, smooth, with lightly rubbed out base edges, and while the sealable bamboo lids aren't the tightest bond I've encountered, they're air-tight and plenty for storing items that need protecting in. The bamboo itself is also neatly finished, rubbed out and varnished.Frankly, I'm not entirely sold by some of the items suggested for storage e.g. cereals, rice etc. -you'd empty one of the small ones with a single bowl / meal & potentially one of the larger ones also. Teas, coffee, spices on the other hand are ideal. The finish also makes these quite flexible: two of mine almost immediately migrated to the bathroom rather than the kitchen, where they blend well with the tiles and are ideal for storing cotton-wool and a few other small items. While not bargain-basement price (£29.99 as of March '24) they're well-priced for the quality of the finish and appearance, so if you would find something like this useful, buy with confidence -I really like mine.

I really like the design and color of these Ceramic kitchen jars with bamboo lid. Very modern and minimalist.2 colors which is blue and green and 2 different sizes available. A pair of 14.5 oz and a pair of 10.1oz.Can be used for coffee, sugar, tea, spices, cereals, oats and many more.The rubber seal is great and tight. Good quality product, sturdy and durable.Came in a secured packaging. No damage or cracks at all. Will recommend.
