Was so excited to get these and use them for work. Sadly the red one flickers some and the other one doesn’t want to press up or down on when I press it down to write with. I was so looking forward to using these at work. I did change out the batteries for the red one but still flickers. 😭Edit-I received new pens from the company to make up for the ones I got. They were so nice and very prompt with sending out new ones. They sent me extra ones as well and for a company to do that, makes me trust the fact that they will always put us customers first. Don’t immediately change the batteries. It comes in with ready installed batteries.

The light is amazing for writing when my SO is trying to sleep. I’d love a thicker point size. And I’m used to gel pens, so it doesn’t flow as nicely as gel, but still super useful!!

Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves them and they come in handy in the dark restaurants or in the car at night . I can write notes without blinding him with our overhead lights in the cabin of the car.

Works as described. Going to use for thoughts that pop into my head when I am awake at 3a ;0).

Overall, I enjoy the pen and plan to keep it. However, the light is so bright that it almost defeats the purpose of writing in the dark without disturbing a partner. It's challenging to write because the brightness can be blinding, making it difficult to see what you're writing, especially in low light. I found that putting a sticky note over the light helped to tone it down. If you have sensitive eyes like mine, I suggest looking for a pen with adjustable brightness settings. As a pen enthusiast, I find that this pen doesn't write as smoothly as I would prefer, but it is overall well-made and a great idea. Thank you.

Penyeah Pen with Light, Pen Light Flashlight, Lighted Tip Pen Light, 2pack - Red - These are fantastic pens for writing at night. I have only used them a couple of nights, but they write nicely and are bright. I am going to add some opaque tape at the tip to tone down the brightness at night like other reviewers have mentioned. They came with two extra batteries and four extra ink refills in a resealable plastic bag to keep air out. The ink refills do not seem very large, and I am not sure how long the ink will last, so I am happy that they included extra ink refills.
