I’ve been using this ACCUTECK 440 lb digital scale and it’s been great so far. It feels very sturdy and professional, and the readings have been accurate and consistent every time I’ve used it. This is an excellent and lightweight scale for how large it is. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it feels just not heavy to use. The size is great for larger packages and of course the digital reader is nice. The item is easy to use, navigate and accurate. Overall I think for mailing packages and trying to determine weight for postage, this works great! Would recommend for home use.

THIS IS A EXCELLENT SCALE THAT CAN NOT ONLY BE USED FOR US POSTAL SERVICE BUT OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AS WELL. THE SCALE IS VERY LIGHT FOR BEING FAIRLY LARGE. IT HAS A BRIGHT CLEAR LED DISPLAY. THE SCALE IS METAL NOT PLASTIC SO IT SHOULD LAST WITHOUT WORRY OF BREAKING. IT WILL MEASURE WEIGHT IN ENGLISH OR METRIC. IT IS NICE THAT IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE PLUGGED IN AND RUNS ON BATTERIES. THE SCALLE HAS A 440 POUND CAPACITY WHICH I DON’T SEE ANYONE COMING CLOSE TO USING WITH THIS. OVERALL THS SCALE IS GREAT AND I HAVE NO ISSUES WITH IT. VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE

I got this scale for my parents who recently retired and are downsizing by selling stuff on eBay. They needed something to help estimate shipping costs, and this has been absolutely perfect for them. The LCD screen is nice and big, which is great because they can actually read it without squinting or grabbing their glasses. Setup was super easy – honestly, if my parents could figure it out without calling me for tech support, you know it's user-friendly! They're not the most tech-savvy people, so that was a huge plus. The 440-pound capacity is way more than they need for most packages, but they've also been using it to weigh their luggage before an upcoming trip, which has been a nice bonus feature. It's sturdy, accurate, and does exactly what they need it to do. If you're looking for a reliable shipping scale that won't confuse less technical users, I'd definitely recommend this one.

Pro's 1. Very well packed and protected - box it arrived in looks like 3 cu ft. Inside box about 19" x 12". The puffy airpacks were around it. When you finally get it out, it is about 12" square and about 1" thick. Has rubber feet on bottom. 2. Nice looking 3. Came with (4) AAA batteries 4. Clip for hanging on wall is quite small and was packed in with batteries ( batteries go in the screen reader) 5. Comes with instructions 6. 10 year warranty ACCURACY: Seems accurate on low-weight items, even on thin carpet on top of concrete. However, tested for "weighing people." I had to call the phone number on warranty sheet for finding out more info; it was taking FOREVER for the numbers to climb high enough to weigh someone.... minutes! But I was testing on top of same carpet, since the carpet was already accurate for an item under five pounds. Once scales was moved to a bathroom floor, the numbers advanced much faster and stabilized so scales could be read. Final reading "locked," so person could get off scales and reading remained until released with on/off/ tare button. So scores a "10" because the final reading locks in, but scores a "3" because if you are a person needing a scales like this to weigh yourself, you probably don't want the LONG emotional wait ... waiting for the scales numbers to keep climbing! But it can weigh people - and with the leash with the number reader? That leash is VERY USEFUL by someone has a beer gut, large stomach or larger breasts or bad back or off balance who can't see their read out on a floor- scale with numbers at floor level. ( think "bariatric weight loss" program, or a senior or someone with disabilities. ) Leash: a strong "10". Cons: 1. Needs to have the screen reader be attachable from base. This would make for easier packing back up later. 2. Wall plug the plug in prongs should fold flat for easier packing for moving. ( like cellphone chargers often fold back against themselves) 3. Customer support is hmmm - strange? When I called, the man answering just said "hullo?????" No company identification. Seemed annoyed I called. I could have reached the janitor for all I know! He was rude, but helpful. It was a fast call; he hung up. Just strange and unprofessional. TIPS: 1. Batteries are small and come wrapped "2 to a plastic. " Total four batteries. You can slice open that plastic using a prong from the plug. Saves looking for scissors or a knife. 2. Keep the Accuteck box and packing in case you need it to move or for warranty. There are foam type white holders to protect the screen thing and plugs as well az the scales.

Overall the scale works perfectly. I love that it can display weight in pounds, pounds and ounces, and kilograms, which makes it really convenient depending on what I’m measuring.

I'm glad I purchased this. Around Christmas time and Thanksgiving I make cookies for everyone in my family. most of them and they live out-of-state. I always have to run to U.P. S to mail them , this little scale is just awesome. I already know what it's going to cost and everything before I even get to the U. P. S so that makes it very easy. It's very simple to work. It comes with, you a plug it in and with 4 AAA batteries that you use as well. Yeah, I would recommend this. And actually, I'm going to recommend it to my niece, who has a small business, she has to ship items out as well. This is a good buy. And it has a 10 year warranty.

When my old scale broke down, I needed a replacement fast as my business requires me to ship products almost daily. This scale was a life-saver. The design is actually much nicer than my previous one, it is spacious, and the readings are accurate. I can save up a lot of money on shipping by having a precise weight of my products.

Good, does the job required

I have been using this scale for a few months now. I ship things so I have to make sure that weight is accurate. This is an excellent scale. It feels very sturdy. I don't have to worry if I drop it or something. On the other hand the control feels very plastic. Although I like that the numbers are quite big. You can have 3 options for weight, kg, lbs and lbs oz. You can also have a tare weight setup which is good. One thing that I like about this is it goes up to 400 lbs. I tried weighing myself on this thing and it held. Good choice for home use or small office.

Very simple to set up. Works perfectly and seems to be of sturdy construction. Bought it to weigh & post numerous motorcycle accessories after cancellation of a bike purchase. These scales will definitely serve their purpose.
