Works great
Works great, hardly hear it. Perfect replacement for an old CPU fan.

Quiet and moves a good amount of air
The fan in my hard drive enclosure started showing early signs of failure, so I bought this to replace it before it failed. I should have gotten a 20mm deep fan instead of 15mm because I ended up having to add some spacers to this fan so it didn't wobble around. I also had to modify it to work because the enclosure fan was only 2 wires and this was 4, so I had to trace the correct wires and solder them together. Overall, I definitely recommend it because it's quiet and a good value, but make sure your female plug also has 4 pins or you'll have to do some modifying.

Quiet, good cable management
They are quiet without having an annoying whine. They feel solid for the price. They don't push the most air, but that's expected with this size of fan. The cable management was well done, being encased within the shroud. The cables are fairly short, so a splitter is heavily recommended, even for an mITX build in a sff case.

It's a fan
Any one who says this doesn't move air is crazy. It doesn't move as much air as a thicker or larger fan, but it moves plenty of air for it's intended use. Nice looking fan with no rattle or buzz.

Failed prematurely
Was great until it wasn't. Installed in a light use PC and after about 6mths it started to squeal immediately from startup. Hopefully my other Thermalright fans last longer than this.

Just like Thermalright's 92mm fans this one is failing after less than 1 year of use!
First impressions of this fan were good. It appeared to be well built. Was quiet given the amount of air it was moving and seemed to be ok. But just like the 92mm Thermalright models I purchased at the same time as this one less than 1 year ago it too is beginning to fail. The fan is making an off and on grinding like noise. I purchased 3 92mm fans and this 80mm one all at the same time for 1 build in Oct 2023. So far 2 of the 3 92mm fans have failed (one locked up completely at less than 3 months!) and this 80mm one recently got very noisy. Very disappointed!
