Strength Shop 10mm Lever Belt - IPF Approved (Steel Lever with Lifetime Warranty)

I bought this belt nearly a year ago. I needed an IPF approved belt as I’d like to compete as a power lifter. Firstly don’t be put off by the price the belt is well worth the extra money. I’ve have numerous belts over the years and this is by far the best. The build quality is excellent and the belt gives great support while still being as comfortable as it’s possible to be when squatting and deadlifting. It has just the right amount of flexibility while still be firm enough to brace against really effectively. Mine developed a very minor fault after some serious punishment and the aftercare from the strength shop has been great - they immediately offered a replacement part. I’m so impressed with the product and service I’ve ordered another identical belt as a backup - just in case I lose mine. Long story short if you are considering buying a good quality weightlifting belt this is a great option.

I love this powerlifting belt; I have upped the number of squat and deadlift sessions a week, just so that I can use it more (oh, and it was part of my training programme). The belt is sturdy and thick and I can brace my abs against it well. It took a couple of minutes to fit it to my size, you need a flathead screwdriver to move the ratchet mechanism. Once fitted, using it is a pleasure after years of tugging at a thick leather belt to get into the snugger holes and having to remove the belt between sets. When you close the belt it sits loose, and closing the ratchet tightens the belt to wherever you have set it. The real benefit is in between sets, when you can simply unclip the ratchet, and take your recovery time or load/unload the bar with the belt on, but loose. All told, this belt really is fantastic, and I can scarcely believe I went so long without one.

- There was no instructions on connecting the buckle on the belt. it looks quite straight-forward and I managed to do it, but some instructions would be good.- The belt had a quite strong odour at first. Left it in the conservatory for a day and then it was OK.

best belt I have owned. a little awkward to fit as have to adjust with screw driver but the fit when adjusted correctly is perfect. helps a lot in heavy lifts

Amazing product, really durable and well designed/built. Just make sure you get your measurements right in order to get the best size fit for you.

First belt so I have no comparison, but it goes nice and tight and it's easy to take on and off. I like the fact I can just flip the lever when I'm done on the working set on the bench making it easy to sit up. Lever stays put throughout sets. I've seen similar belts a lot cheaper, whether they do the same I can't say.

Love the product, feel very secure whilst doing deadlifts etc. After using it for a little while I quickly got my deadlifts up to over 200kg. Product feels sturdy and the lever system feels a lot stronger than a regular buckle.

Awesome lifting belt, comfortable, didn't need to break it in too much, I used it at a comp after 2 weeks and it was perfect, I will be coming back for a smaller size when I can't wear this one any more. Well worth the money. Brilliant seller
