WindyNation 100 amp-Hour 100AH 12V 12 Volt AGM Deep Cycle Sealed Lead Acid Battery - Solar RV UPS Off-Grid (1 pc 100 amp-Hour)

I bought these batteries to upgrade the ones on my RV. They would work equally well on a boat. I was impressed with the packaging- two layers of cardboard over an inch of styrofoam. Nothing was going to harm these batteries short of dropping them off the back of the UPS truck and maybe not even then. The batteries came fully charged, reading 13.0 volts each. They had plastic protectors covering each terminal and a nice lifting strap. Since I bought two, they came with two, red and black jumper cables, 2/0 gauge. The terminals are nice screwed ones with rubber protectors. So far this looks like a very high quality battery. Time will tell how they hold up under use.

What a great battery so far! My newest edition to my solar equipment set up. Battery stays cool at ~30c while charging and having a load on it. A few things I want to point out that they don't list. I am not sure why because this made me extremely more proud of my purchase! The strap you see in my photos came already attached to the battery it wasn't something extra. The red and black terminal covers also came with the battery it wasn't something extra. I was super excited when I got this battery and seen these extra items! Pros: Battery Strap Negative and Positive Terminal Protectors -Performance- This thing is crazy I am not able to run this thing dead! It seems impossible to do! Recharges pretty fast. Cons: None Yet UPDATE 1/13/2020 *WINTER* This battery is still going strong. I am so glad I have made this choice for my solar system. It is said in the winter months it's harder for batteries to charge and they lose about 10 percent of its capacity. I have not seen this happen to this battery yet. It still is charging as normal as if it's brand new I originally purchase this battery back in September of 2019.

I purchased these to replace the regular lead acid batteries in a trailer. The fact that these batteries do not have to be vented is a bonus for trailer use. The terminal connections are great for trailer use. Only have had them installed for a month, so long term we will see how the batteries hold up. Used them dry camping for a week, ran the generator for 30 minutes each day to use the coffee maker. The batteries always showed a full charge. Batteries are a little pricey, but so far are worth the money. Batteries arrived well packaged and fully charged. I would purchase these batteries again.

Edit: update, 2 years 5 months still going strong. Charging via 2 each 100 watt solar panels, MPPT controller- battery has continued to serve it solar purpose. Perfect for my needs. 100 amp hour battery for my 100 watt flexible solar panel installed in my mini RV. It arrived well packaged with a 13.2 volt charge remaining. Soon as I connected it to my charge controller, it was only a few minutes to top it off. Sweet. Fully charged, it powers my roof fan, mini usb fan, led lights, charges my camera batteries, and my iPad and iPhone. We will see how long it will last. As it is charged nearly daily (clear, sunny skies) I recon it’ll go for 5 years or so.

Liked the fact that the battery was fully charged and in good condition when I received it. Also liked the battery posts as they are easy to connect and the battery charge lasts a long time. Using it for RV solar power. Also like the fact that it's sealed and doesn't require any fluid monitoring or addition although to store it you do need to keep it from freezing and keep it charged. Also like the fact that the battery can be positioned in any position without worrying about fluid loss. Still need to keep it vented and it is rather heavy.

I bought 8 of these to use in my solar grid for my home, if you're reading this and in a similar situation (running lights, charging devices in a primary residence) I'd encourage you to buy the more expensive lithium iron phosphorus batteries. Nothing directly wrong with these, but they are just "ok"

Battery is still going strong! We use it as our main battery for boondocking when we camp. We've camped well over 200 times for 2-4 nights at a time. It is also our trolling motor battery for our small boats. I have been pretty diligent to not go below 12.0 volts before charging, although I have a few times when camping in the winter and running the furnace in our trailer. It still holds 12.7 volts over the winter months without a maintainer. If this thing ever dies I'll buy the same brand again.

This is a great product, recently i accidentally didn't disconnect the battery from our travel trailer and it went completely dead (never recommended). I emailed WindyNation on a Saturday and even though it is 15 months since i purchased they replied and helped me almost immediately. So, if you want a good product and for me most important service after the sale, this is a good company and product.

These are good batteries, came in on time and were installed on the trailer.
