Very bingeable ya thriller
Firstly, I love the AGGGTM series and I doubt any of Holly’s books will live up to that because it just has a special magic to it so I went in not expecting anything which allowed me to enjoy this for what it was.As a ya thriller it was great! I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very binegable. Bel is unlikable and prickly and I really grew to like her. We come to understand why she pushes people away and she’s her walls break down at the end. There’s the tiniest hint of romance and I think it served Bel well to find someone who believed her and to remind her people leave but they’re not always gone. The mystery was a slow burn but I really liked the unravelling of the secrets. Bel’s family is complicated and I enjoyed learning about their dynamics. The ending was amazing and unhinged but I was so here for it.I won’t say much else because it’s better to go in blind but it was a fun read with a plot I haven’t read before.

Written in a very readable style.
I ordered this book to take on holiday with me and, although I don't fit the age profile of the target audience, I don't mind reading material intended for younger groups. I still occasionally pick up one of the books in The Chronicles Of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis and can thoroughly enjoy the read. When the book arrived I was initially a little puzzled about the claim that it was a special first edition as there didn't seem anything to really mark the copy out as special. I had to revisit the listing and all was revealed. The special bit was printed on the hard back cover and was normally hidden from view by the dust jacket. Who knows, in the future this marked first edition may become a sought after collectors piece? When I pick a book up I read a part of the first page and then skip further on and read a little bit more, and then again. This unfailingly tells me if I like the style of writing and if it is a style that gives me confidence that I have a well written book in my hand. This book strikes me as being one which I wouldn't run away from but at the same time I may decide, after getting some way in, that it is not for me. In other words it doesn't scream "You must read me!" but it is definitely worth a try.The presentation of the book in hardback is very nice and solid, which is another plus factor for any possible future worth in these days when paperbacks rule.I feel that the book represents good value at £7.49 for a special first edition hardback but of course it's real worth to anyone will be in how much pleasure is derived from reading it. I feel I will be satisfied with the read even if i don't end up raving about it. Once I have started a book it takes a lot for me to abandon it and so I am pretty convinced I will finish this one but it may get finished on the plane back home!

Holly did not dissappoint
I've read every one of Holly Jacksons books, including the AGGGTM series and Five Survive, which were all incredible. TRORP really stood up to expectations. It was such an engrossing read, and I couldn't put it down! She makes you think you've figured it out, then something completely new comes out of nowhere! Love her work, and I hope there's more to come. Would definitely recommend.

Another great book by HJ!
Loved this book, all of the author's books are amazing and this one did not disappoint! Read it within 4 days and couldn't put it down. The story was so captivating and the pace at which it was written had me hooked on the small details of Rachel's disappearance and Bel's investigation into her and then building up the suspense to see whether Rachel Price was telling the truth and what really happened to her....

Didn’t live up to the hype
I have mixed feeling about this book. I was really looking forward to reading it so I moved it up my TBR list. Before the half way point, I had figured out the ending. The last 80 pages of the book were a bit mad. It was really good up until that point. The documentary took a back seat suddenly. The character development is patchy. There are so many people who appear for a few pages and then there is no mention of them again.

Good light reading
Very easily accessible and well written novel. I won't reveal the plot for fear of spoiling it but if you are a fan of books for young adults or mystery then I would recommend giving it a go. A nice quick read with lots of interesting ideas.

Great Quality, Poor Book
The postage and quality of this book was good but the actual story was, in my opinion, mediocre.

Delivered very fast even though it should’ve come in later! And the book was amazing
Where to start? I am a huge fan of Holly Jackson and I’ve read all her books. This book was so fun the story about Bel price and everything that happened. I did guess some things but damn what was Charlie a manipulative person, I was second guessing myself so much until the end. I loved Ash too, it was a very small romance plot but it was there and it was very fun. The things Rachel price went through were so sad and horrible. (I don’t think there are trigger warnings, but I am not to sure please do check) Overall I loved the story, the writing, super fun ya read!

Holly Jackson's Faithful Reader
yes, I know, that's what Stephen King calls his fans, which I am, but Holly Jackson is now one of my favorites too.A few years ago I bought AGGGM for my daughter and we both loved it. I continued to read the other books part of the series on my own (my daughter could not forgive the death of the dog in book 1), as well as the other standalone books, all of which were amazing.Anyway, anytime Ms. Jackson publishes something new I preorder it and I have not been disappointed thus far. This book was great, albeit a little slow. There's a lot going on right beneath the surface, and lots of details are subtly provided to reinforce the idea that something is amiss. The main character, Annabel, is troubled (and who wouldn't be?) but not to the point of disliking her, and she evolves little by little, without changing how she truly is in the process. This books takes you to dark places and introduces you to dark characters as well, more so than her other books. If there was one thing that I'd point out as a negative would be the pace of the story, which is rather slow-going, and too much is left to the end, but still enyoyable. If you are unfamiliar with this author's books, I recommend you try any one of them - they're all worth it.
