It's an envelope...not much to really expect lolI mail a lot of letters for work and my boss uses regular staples envelopes (that's not press n seel) and these seem the same. The quality of the envelope is like any other, made of white paper. Personally, it's just a piece of printer paper folded up to hold a letter lolBoth envelopes are pretty sheer, you would need to have another piece of plain paper to help conceal any important information. Usually I just fold the top header, with the patient's name and other confidential information under. Or if the whole letter contains very sensitive material put an extra piece of white paper on top to fold together to make sure nothing can be shown through the envelope.I've read people who has complained about the sheerness of the envelope. Honestly, it's not a big deal. If you're looking for the security envelopes look for the ones with the blue lining. Or just do what I do.It's an envelope. Don't expect too much...

Used for mailing smaller communications. They are thick enough to provide privacy; they did exactly what I needed them to do.

I don't like to go into too many stores so I just purchased these on-line. However, if you do go into the stores, walmart has these envelopes much cheaper. The envelopes were good, I was satisfied with them for the simply fact that they were brought right to my door, I didn't have to go out to the stores. But if you're out and you need this type of envelope and you want to save a couple of cents, then go to walmart to get a cheaper price. With the economy being the way that it is who doesn't want to save a couple of dollars today?

Always purchase Mead envelopes because they are sturdy and self-adhesive secures contents; also, reasonable price for excellent product.

These envelopes are about the most economical that I could find while shopping online. I'm sure I could find cheaper options when Staples or Wal-Mart or other brick-and-mortar stores have sales going on, but these are budget priced every day, and I can get them delivered right to my house, so I went with these, over others. The self-sealing strip means no licking is necessary on these. they seem to be of average paper quality and construction. Nothing fancy, here - just basic business-sized envelopes.

Perfect size to for mailing personal checks. I love that I can just peeled the sticker to close it, instead of gaining 10 calories every time I licked the envelope before. Good amount. Great quality!
