Works well for the cost but found the drill collars coming loose all the time, thst bit was annoying .

My husband is in to woodworking he’s only used it once but said it’s quite easy to use and the quality seems to be good and it was fantastic value for money

Having never used a dowel jig before and being keen to learn how to use it either instructions or a link to a manual or video would have been useful. Thanks goodness for YouTube to set me off on the right direction.

Good value

I've been building bases for beds and wanted to glue and dowel lots of sections together. Made it so predictable and so Easy. Recommend you clamp the jig, have a 4mm pilot drill tou o soften up the wood, then go for it with your 8 or 10mm. Tip if you screw a hole up not quite aligned because you didn't clamp right, use a smaller dowel with expending wood glue. Once you've done a few holes you soon get good at it. Brilliant.

Kit is great but could do with some more dowels

Jog itself seems ok... but the spur point drill bits supplied seem completely incompatible with the stop collars which severely twist and slip when tightened due to the body clearance and impossible to position right... am gong to have to buy new 8 mm bog standard twist bit without any body clearance...
