It's a great gadget. Note: IF you have a Ford F150, try the GM setting if the Ford one doesn't work.
[March 2025 - My review of "JDIAG 2IN1 TPMS Relearn Tool Super EL50448 for GM and for Ford Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor TPMS Reset Tool 2025 Edition"]We have a 2011 Ford F150 Platinum, and for several months the TPMS error message had been on the dashboard display every time we started the truck. Our research showed that the message could simply be due to a dead/dying battery (apparently they last roughly five years) so when we had new tires fitted a few weeks ago we got the fitter to replace the TPMS units as well.I confess - we're cheap, so when I saw that genuine Ford TPMS units are over $50 each, I took a chance on ordering some much less expensive ones from Amazon: "9L3Z1A189A TPMS Sensors, 315MHZ Pre-Programmed Tire Pressure Sensor for Ford F150 F250 F350 F450 F550 2009-2016 Escape 2009-2019 Fusion 2010-2016 for Lincoln MKX MKC 4pcs" The brand: ISINLASSO...They're listed as being compatible with our truck and pre-programmed, and a set of four is only $24.59 at the moment (March 28, 2025) which seems about average for non-OEM units.I also bought a small gray rectangular TPMS relearn/trainer clicker on Amazon for about $13. It seems to be popular on Amazon and gets good ratings. Unfortunately, that little gray clicker didn't work on our truck's TPMS units, and I was worried. I thought it might not be the sensors causing the error message, and then I though it's more likely to be the sensors and I might be forced to buy a set of Ford OEM sensors and have them installed, which would have been annoying, to say the least. After that was a bust, I bought this much larger gadget that is supposed to work with Ford and GM sensors. It does not include a battery and I was expecting to install a couple of AAs in the back compartment, but it actually requires one of the small rectangular 9V batteries with the two terminals on the top, which might be a bit inconvenient if you don't happen to be battery hoarders like us with a drawer full of different shapes and sizes.Once the battery is fitted, the instruction leaflet explains how to put various vehicles into Tire Training Mode, and training the sensors is a simple process. There are various videos attached to this Amazon page, and there are a number of YT videos about how to do the job as well.So anyway, the gist of this review is that the cheap sensors work and this relearning gadget does as well. Hubby was able to do the retraining in about five minutes. It would have been even faster but he tried it once using the Ford setting (for obvious reasons!) and that didn't work, so the instructions said the GM setting works on some Ford F150s. Switching to the GM setting did the trick for us. No more TPMS error message! Yay!

Works Great! 2014 Mustang 3.7
I bought some aftermarket sensors and 1 found a leak due to a faulty valve core, and then all a sudden the TPMS message and light wouldn't go away after the issue was fixed! I bought the 315MHz TPMS Sensor, Tire Pressure Monitoring System Sensor - Compatible for Lincoln MKT MKZ MKS 2011-2014, for Ford F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 Super Duty 2010-2014 - Replace Part DE8T-1A180-AA Set of 4 by YOLLKY. My issue happened the same day of tire install unfortunately. After looking around and asking questions to the bot here, it sounded like this was my best choice. Thanks also to BritTexan who left a review here for assuring me I had made the right purchase. I was still anxious not knowing 100% if it would work, but it did! Awesome!! I watched the 07-14 Mustang TPMS: How To Reprogram Mustang Tire Pressure Monitoring System on YouTube which really helped me figure out how to put my car in TPMS Learning Mode. Wow am I relieved what an ordeal!

Ford Owner-This one didn’t work. I returned it and bought a different one that worked immediately
Save yourself some grief. I have a 2008 Ford Explorer, so an older car, and just got a tire sensor fault error on the dash display. It turns out my suv has the band sensors.I tried scanning my tires over 2 days with this tool, and it only found one sensor twice. I tried it on the F setting, on the G setting, pointing the antenna at the tire by the valve stem, pressing the tool sideways on the tire by the valve stem, then repeating the same process on the opposite side of the tire 180 degrees from the valve stem, on each setting, in each position. I tried this on each tire, and…nothing. I wasn’t sure if it was the tool, all of the sensors, or my inexperience, but I decided to order a different looking tool, because I mainly see 2 styles of these relearning tool in the inexpensive variety. I ordered a different bright green tool because I figured it would be easy to find when I misplace it a half dozen times when I’m getting frustrated.I ordered this one:JDIAG TPMS Sensor Tool, TPMS Relearn Tool for F150 Auto TPMS Reset Sensor Programming Training Tools Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS-19 / 8C2Z-1A203-A)I put the car in Train mode, put this sensor next to the valve stem on the left front tire, and…nothing. Then I placed it on the opposite side of the wheel, 180 degrees around, and…Bingo! I can’t believe I wasted 2 days trying to get a weak JDIAG 2IN1 TPMS Relearn Tool to work!I went to the next wheel, and couldn’t get anything to scan, so I went to the 3rd wheel. Bingo! Next, the 4th wheel. Bingo!I concluded that my wheel #2, Right Front, is the faulty sensor. The 8C2Z-1A203-A tool made it super easy. So, if you are reading this review, don’t buy the tool which this review is written under.Search Amazon for the following tool and buy it if you have a Ford!Again, “ JDIAG TPMS Sensor Tool, TPMS Relearn Tool for F150 Auto TPMS Reset Sensor Programming Training Tools Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS-19 / 8C2Z-1A203-A)”

Works
This works well and very easily. If you are having trouble consider that either the sensor is bad or the battery in the sensor is dead.

Excellent investment if you own a ford vehicle
Worth the investment to have on hand to help yourself or others- I was quoted $500 for a tire shop to do the TPMs change and reprogrammingSay what??Amazon had the 4 sensors for $24!! And this sensor programmer for $12 and I did them myself with a friend’s tire machine thankfullyMake sure you have it on the Ford setting on the programmer (holding it down for 5 seconds will switch to either G or F)For my ford 2016 I had to do the (brake pedal/ignition cycling 3 times to go into the programming mode (truck will honk twice) and then going to each tire and point it in the right place press the button (don’t hold it down) and it will honk once within 1-2 second time frame and then move on to the next tire and do the same(FL/FR then RR/RL)
