One of them broke, and it broke two more RAMs
When I first used these 2x8GB RAM sticks they were perfect until one of them broke down.Still today one is in good condition but I hesitate to use it since it could risk breaking my other 8GB RAM sticks from different manufacturers.The problem is that after one of these RAM sticks broke, I wanted to try my other ones (which worked) and it confirmed that this manufacturer's RAM stick was defective.But afterwards I tried again to put that defective RAM in a different RAM slot with a known-good 8GB one to test again.My computer didn't boot but it also broke my known-good 8GB RAM stick which was working prior to this last test.So what I can say is that if you use these RAM sticks, then don't mix them with other RAM manufacturers; if one of them breaks, it will break all other RAM sticks that you try combining with the broken RAM.Finally it does appear that it's true to think that these RAM sticks are unreliable.Next time I want to make sure to get different RAM sticks with a reputable brand on the black IC chips themselves (not just the sticker, I will verify the black chips on the stick too).

First order had one bad stick. Second order was good to go. Got this running at 1867mhz on a ThinkPad X220 i7 with a modded bios. Was on sale at 17.99 at time I bought it so a good value.

Excellent value memory!
I have several older laptop computers that take DDR3(L) memory and this was very useful to upgrade them for a low price. Now these are much higher rated bus speed than mine use needs but the good thing is that it doesn't matter. This memory works with any bus from 1866Mhz down, which is perfect for older PC's. The "L" part, luckily, is optional also, so will work either way. Great stuff.So, i was a little apprehensive when i first installed these two units in my old Dell Latitude E6520. However, they booted up and were recognized perfectly, even though that machine runs, i think, with a bus speed of 1066Mhz. Everything went great and i am very happy to have them. This is a great upgrade and i may even be able to use them again if i get a newer machine later.
