This block kit is absolutely perfect for sanding and leveling the exterior of a motorcycle fuel tank prior to painting! The hardness of the material of the square blocks is fairly rigid yet the block is flexible allowing you to sand complex curves without digging into filler. The different thicknesses allow more contouring with the same rigidity. You can establish level with these blocks very efficiently and accurately using guide coat. The round ones have the same characteristics of the blocks doing perfect small inside tapers and curves. Like around the filler neck. Easier to work with than full rigid blocks because nothing on a motorcycle tank is perfectly flat. Following outside and inside curves in any direction is a breeze with these. Multi use. Handy little sanding aids. Used them for sanding a gunstock. The different shapes of sanding pads are nice for sanding various contours etc.

I flip furniture and am always looking for anything to make sanding easier. These contour blocks are really nice. Wrap a piece of sandpaper them and you can get into all kinds of nooks and crannies. I'd buy them again.
