Was just okay, little bitter, taste was a little off.

Several years ago I felt devastated when Starbucks closed their online store; but it was the best thing that ever happened to my coffee habit. I learned quickly that coffees roasted so dark as Starbucks' lost most of their delicious liveliness. I tried coffees from maybe six alternative roasters, but I settled on Fresh Roasted Coffee because I love that I can get Tanzanian Peaberry which tastes mild and malty, and I can get Sumatra Mandheling which tastes strong, spicy and earthy. These I grind together and I marvel at how good the brew is with nearly every sip.

The coffee is good, but it is definitely not fresh. I think it's the least fresh coffee that I've bought from amazon. Strongly recommend buying directly from this company's website for a slightly higher price - they actually roast to order so you receive it "freshly roasted."

It’s a good price for a whole bean coffee, but I think it’s not the best coffee of the brand. It’s not a light/medium roast as the package says, it was darker and with a stronger taste. I have others type that I bought before and preferred

I usually pay a lot more for fresh beans - usually Tanzanian Peaberry or Sumatran. Excellent coffees over a decade but to me, this is flawless. Its rich sweet full flavor makes excellent espresso.
