It comes with all the necessary cables and works well as a second monitor for a laptop, as it has the same screen size as most laptops. The image quality is very good and better than the monitor on my ThinkBook, and there are some nice brightness options provided by the side buttons. It's pretty easy to set up (just plug in the two cables, then press the little button). It also comes with a protective case that fits my laptop, making it a nice little freebieIt's worth noting, however, that you may need to change your audio settings as it likes to change those when plugged inThe stand seems very durable, and it's nice to have the option to change it to vertical display when I'm readingAll things considered, the extra £10 this costs compared to other, similar products is definitely worth it, and I would encourage you to buy this if you are a laptop user and you regularly use your laptop to work or study

Ok. It’s not crazy bright, and the contrast ratio isn’t high end.For the money, it’s still insanely good.Bought this for multi-screen working on the go, since I travel a lot. It’s been exceptional; light enough to throw in my laptop bag and not really notice the weight difference.The image is generally very good, even though - at optimal brightness - it’s obviously not as punchy as my MacBook Pro, it’s still great for coding, life admin, and watching crap on YouTube.The built in kick stand is adjustable, and feels really sturdy. The controls are a bit fiddly at first, but like most screens, onboard controls you’ll play with once and probably never again.It comes with USB-C and HDMI cables, but I’ve found my MacBook Pro M1 is totally capable of running it just off the USB-C alone… but only the MSI USB-C cable, for whatever reason(?)It also comes with a soft neoprene pouch, which offers **some** protection, but would still exercise care when putting it in a bag with anything that could press into the screen, like a power adapter or anything that could press through the neoprene and do damage.If you’re looking for something to game with on-the-go, do graphic design, or video editing, maybe invest a bit more in something with a bit higher spec that will reproduce colours and contrast better. For anything else, this is genuinely all you need.

Eager to try this out and see if I really could plug my iPhone into it via USB-C and mirror the screen. First off, you need to use a regular USB charging cable to supply power. This takes up one of the 2 USB-C ports. Now, being plugged into a wall charger limits your mobility as a portable solution but it does work using a power bank for better mobility. Then I plugged in my iPhone. If you have an iPhone 15 of later then plugging a USB-C cable into the 2nd USB-C port on the screen should work. But I got nothing. Tried a different cable. Then out of desperation I actually used the supplied USB-C cable. Bingo! I guess any old USB-C cable is fine for charging but not for AV purposes. Even then I had a delay of a few seconds before anything appeared on the screen I guess my phone had to recognise that there was a screen plugged into its USB-C port. In portrait mode then you see your iPhone screen taking up about 25% of the width of the screen but full height. Rotate your iPhone to landscape and the display fills the external screen. The key thing is that there is NO setting required on the iPhone. No messing about with mirroring in the control center or casting and the like. It really is plug and play.While I am not sure of the use case for plugging a laptop into the screen, I tried this via the supplied HDMI cable (full sized to mini) and it worked perfectly.The screen is very light and so you can easily take it around with you. Screen brightness is very good. There is a brightness adjustment button on the side of the screen. There is a speaker in the screen but it can only be controlled from your plugged in device.At first usage it seems a brilliant way to use your phone but not be squinting at a small screen to watch a movie or browse the web. Just remember that all control is via the source device and so you still need to go back to your phone to pause the movie, mute etc. And a external battery pack seems like a good idea unless you are near enough to your wall charger when using it.

Really like this. Image quality is great considering there will always be a trade of with packability and cost. Good screen size while still fitting in my laptop bag. This gives me a portable dual screen everywhere I go which is just a necessity at times for productivity. Brightness and audio are adjustable so it isn't just an extension, it's a complete addition to your kit outI have also discovered that I can connect it via HDMI to my camera. Meaning that when I set up for videos I can have a full screen display of what my video would look like to watch back. It really helps with framing and movements

Absolutely excellent portable monitor. The screen quality is sharp and bright enough for a Full HD display. It’s very lightweight and slim, making it ideal for working on the go or extending a laptop setup at home.Setup was quick and straightforward, true plug-and-play. I’ve used it with multiple devices, and for both my MacBook Pro M4 Pro and MacBook Air M2, a single USB-C cable is enough to power the monitor and get the display working.The build quality and design feels soli. Overall highly recommended.

Definitely worth buying very light colors are also good you can change the brightness from buttons speackee is acceptable very helpfull very easy to change the stand position

Producto original y de buena calidad. Funciona bien como segunda pantalla o para duplicar pantalla de teléfono móvil. Lo peor son los altavoces, para mí no es importante por el tipo de uso que le voy a dar, pero son peores que los de algunos móviles.

I had this portable monitor 3 days, put it in my laptop bag and the screen got pinched in it's cover. The screen was beside a flat surface so I think it was pressure when something pressed against it. I contacted MSI and asked would warrant cover it they said no and due to the cost there was no point in refurbing it.I do not recommend this
