Carlinkit 5.0 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto 2-in-1 Adapter | Two Channel Connection, Online Update, for Cars with Factory Wired CarPlay/Android Auto (2016-2026), 10s Auto-Connect

Used this device to support Wireless CarPlay on a 2023 Kia Nero EV. In my car you connect via the larger USB A socket not the smaller USB C. Plugged the device into the USB A, connected to my phone via Bluetooth. The cars infotainment detected the CarPlay, followed the prompts on screen and the iPhone. Works great. Had a couple of drop outs in the first 10mins of usage but has since worked fine. Used the double sided sticky tape to place the device out of the way. Very happy with the purchase.

1st Carlinkit Does allow iOS/Android devices to connect via Bluetooth. I paired iPhone 14 using supplied usb from Dongle+iPhone original charging cable. Nissan Leaf did confirm if CarPlay connection was required and it worked wirelessly which is great. Then I connected Pixel 7 for Android this needed me to find cable from pixel into carlinkit dongle though did run Android Auto Play via Leaf Wirelessly. I don't often drop stars from reviews, though inability to seamlessly switch between iOS/android means 1 star dropped, if needed manual intervention is required to disconnect either mobile from car link it bluetooth, which is only point where any mobile manual steps could be required. Carlinkit is as most reviewers find, it Is quite Amazing tiny device to allow wireless CarPlay/android auto on EV Infotainment unit.

Crap doesn’t work couldn’t connect tit don’t waste your money ! Tried for hours

Sometimes if you are on call it will disconnect automatically or sometimes it will just disconnect even though you are doing nothing other than navigation. But overall this product is good. When its connected works very well

Although there seemed to be a raft of instructions, no actual setting up was required. Plugged in, turned on Bluetooth and it all connected and worked. Works fine with both Apple and Android. Get's a little laggy every so often and a couple of times it could not decide which phone it wanted to connect to until one phone had it's Bluetooth turned off.

No better than a 4.0

Easy setup works well not drop outs.

I have bought 2 of these, one for each car,(same make and same year, though different models). I have Apple and my husband has android. I can hop into either car and the car play automatically connects to the kit and car play, but he often has to go via the connect screen in the car. (We both have identical manufacturer command screens that support wired auto and CarPlay). In CarPlay the texts and WhatsApp’s are read out if you press the read button, and it is shown in text, but in auto, the screen whirls for a bit and the message shows as read, and shows no text, but does not play or display the message. This may be the difference between CarPlay and android auto, or that the device is better with CarPlay.

Con Android auto funziona benissimo. Si collega in pochi secondi e non perde mai la connessione. Chiaro che la batteria del telefono di scarica anche se non in modo eccessivo. Io l'ho pagato 66euro. Consigliatissimo

Petit message important pour les utilisateurs de fermata auto (AAAD) l'application ne fonctionne pas sous Android 14 sans rooter votre téléphone, mais globalement android auto en mode développeur fonctionne parfaitement avec les apk de souces inconnus.

No need to update. Just plug & play. The extremely small manual is for people with perfect eyes. Other people should use magnifying glasses. 🤓 I made a picture with my phone and enlarged it. Actually there's no need for a manual but, of course, you only know this after reading the manual. 😃

Amazing product. Really smooth connection everytime I start the car. Very rarely it might get disconnected rarely. But overall it's really good. Highly recommended
