Understanding Bitcoin is a journey. Like many Americans, I didn’t fully wake up to the importance of saving in sound money until C19 and the astronomical amount of money printing that went on shortly after the world shut down.Raising children in a clown world environment, you worry for the future and what will become of our current broken system.The problem with most Bitcoin books is the complexity. It’s a HUGE turn off when it can be broken down simply as Mitchell does so eloquently.He gives a compelling argument on the hand in hand nature of conservatism and saving in the world’s hardest asset.I’ve been down the rabbit hole for a few years and I was impressed with the amount of information he was able to pack into this short, easy to read book.Most people don’t understand money (it’s not your fault) our education system doesn’t teach you what they don’t want you to know.This book is a foot in the door of understanding money, why Bitcoin and conservatism are joined at the hip and the basic fundamentals of mining, proof of work and staying away from Altcoins.I applaud Mitchell for breaking down complex systems with simplistic fashion.Come for the gains, stay for the revolution

This is a great book for anyone that is interested in learning more about bitcoin and its core principles. The writer truly is excited about helping people who may not be well versed in finance or bitcoin understand the basics.

Picked up a copy of this wondering what the “conservative” take on this meant and how that would be explained. Author did a surprisingly good job of laying out a very complete argument on what makes Bitcoin so special. This is a really well written, way to read and very concise guide. Highly recommended!

Mitchell Askew did an excellent job of connecting conservative values to the fundamentals of Bitcoin, illustrating why those with conservative beliefs, such as a commitment to free markets, property rights, and accountability, should embrace Bitcoin. His writing is clear and concise, effectively expressing ideas in a “beginner-friendly” manner for those who may not be very familiar with Bitcoin.

Was really excited for this, but was immediately apparent the author lacks deep understanding on the topic. There is certainly a conservative case for bitcoin, but this book, riddled with typos and half baked thoughts, are unfortunately reflective of the author’s maturity level.There’s hope for Mitchell, but he’s not there yet.

I agree with the premise of the book. This book is filled with great data that supports the case for Bitcoin. I would go so far as to say that, if someone could take the economic philosophy of the Founding Fathers of the US and analogize it to a digital monetary network, it would be Bitcoin. Further, I would say that if we had Bitcoin from the founding of the country, we would have stayed much closer to the original formulations of personal freedom and individual liberty. Also, I believe we would have kept minimal government interference in the lives of the People. The only things this book needs are better outlines of the direct connections to the traditional values of our Republic, and a roadmap of concrete actions that would lead to the restoration. Sequel incoming?

Super easy book to read that does an excellent job of highlighting Bitcoin through a conservative lens.Mitch is extremely well versed on his Bitcoin knowledge. I will be sending copies to friends and family members!

Mitchell approaches two complex topics with simplicity and expertise. Bitcoin as a monetary standard and Conservatism as a social standard. He identifies the nuance and executes his position in a digestible format.
