Outperforms BlenderBottle
Unlike the BlenderBottle, it can handle being used and thoroughly washed several times a day for more than 3 weeks - which is when the cap on the BlenderBottle failed and started leaking like crazy as it was being shaken, creating a huge mess. The lid also snaps down securely with ease. No discoloration. Decal is featured on both sides of the bottle. No more chasing whisk balls. Cleaning doesn't take too much longer, but if you are using and cleaning a shaker bottle several times a day, you may want to look into the Helimix to eliminate the rod and whisk elements. And if you only add 8 oz of water to your powder, you may want to try a "mini" 20 oz bottle, sticking to the 28 oz for those mixes requiring 16 oz of liquid. The Performa is the old version with the same cap as on this bottle, and the Performa Activ is the updated version, both by PerfectShaker with ActionRod technology, and available in 20 oz and 28 oz. The Performa Luma model is well suited to women, comes in 24 oz or 28 oz, and features a handle for carrying. I definitely recommend!

Works like you would think a shaker bottle would
This shaker bottle works just as good as all other shaker bottles. I it does have a very nice design with a rod that moves the shaker mechanism up and down. It does seem to make mixing up your drink easier. it also seems to mix the powder even better than a normal shaker.

Surprisingly effective!!
Wow! This cup, with its narrow spring, to act as a mixing catalyst is amazing. I did a side by side comparison to a bottle using a shaker ball and believe it or not, this cup outperforms the balls. Considering that the mixing balls have a greater surface area and freedom of movement within the bottle, one would think that the efficacy in breaking out clots would be greater. However, this all inclusive unit, allows the user to mix a protein shake without clumps, with greater ease than traditional methods. Very impressed by the design of the product and there are no loose pieces too lose. Two thumbs up.

Needed a shaker bottle
I've been using the same shaker bottle for like 5-7 years? Eventually they all give and either the seal starts to leak or the cap warps and leaks over time. This has been a perfect replacement. the new design has a shaker ball attached directly to he shaker bottle top, and that makes cleaning it slightly less painful. I always ended up tossing thosr balls, as I hated cleaning them. This does in someway make it much more more acceptable! Quality is good and should hold up for a while. Recommended !
