Enjoyable game

I don't usually write reviews but wanted to try and give a less emotional review of this game than a lot of opinions out there. This is a good game. It is stealth based but there is also combat but it's a little thin, still fun as it's a minor part of the game. If you enjoyed the early assassins creed games, similar but star wars. Feels very ubisoft (if you like that, you'll like this). Side quest are very good and fetch quest bloat is limited. The progressions system and reputation system are novel and fun and do make the game interesting and a bit different. The story is good if predictable (I mean it's star wars) The graphics are decent, if a little 'dead' - explosions and other impacts don't really do anything to the world, it can be a little jarring. The bugs....aren't great but don't break the game (for me anyway). Example bugs I've personally experienced, flicker screen round the edges, controller getting stuck on vibrate, falling out the levels, not being able to interact with objects, unable to use quick resue & crash to home screen. All bugs have been fixable by a reboot and due to regular auto saving I've never lost a lot. I would say I hit a bug every 5-10hrs. Overall, I'd say ignore all the terrible reviews - they're not credible. Is this the best game ever, no. If you like ubisoft games mainly on stealth and star wars - this is for you. If bugs and crashes are particular bug bear for you....maybe wait a bit for more patches.

Firstly I was very hesitant to purchase this but it was on a deal on Amazon and I don’t regret it. Overall this is a great game with plenty of variety and challenge. Personally I feel it does not warrant a lot of the hate and negative feedback. The graphics are decent on Series X, there are plenty of Star Wars Easter eggs for fan service and some good features pinched from other Star Wars titles etc. I feel there is a lot to do and it’s hard to Know what to pick to do next or to bash through the story but that’s a good thing because it gives some longevity. Yes there are some odd bugs but these have usually rectified themselves. I’ve had it freeze once when coming back to it via quick resume but many games do the same.

Best star wars game to date

I'll start by saying I'm a lifelong star wars fan, so I doubt i can be 100% impartial. Im more Andor and mandalorian than acolyte or skeleton crew. I had read the bad reviews and they left me in two minds about this game. I decided to wait for a price reduction before taking the plunge and buying it. Cards on the table there are some bugs, the first encountered in the first 20 minutes (I couldn't use my data spike to open a door, until changing the settings). I decided to forget the hiccup and persevere. And in all honesty I'm really enjoying it. There are still bugs, but the world's are beautiful and it's quite fun working for the galaxies crime syndicates, pleasing one whilst burning bridges with another. You will make your own mind up regardless of my review but I think it's a great game and am thoroughly enjoying myself!

Brilliant game and well worth the price, after this anyone should purchase survivor.
