I have never owned a ‘power recliner’ in my 66 years of life and decided it was about time to have one.I spent countless hours searching and probably looked at close to 50 different ones before deciding on this chair!I never knew that a recliner chair could come in a box that you would assemble! Upon opening up the box and laying out all of the different parts and looking at the excellent instructions included, it took me about 30 minutes to assemble it, doing it by myself. I had no difficulty at all pushing the pieces into their slots by myself.The fabric is super soft on your skin when you lay in it. It is really heavy padding in the chair, provided a very comfortable feel when I am sitting in it. I did not notice and ‘bad smells’ coming from it upon removing the pieces from their plastic wrap. The zippers on the chair are very high quality and sturdy.Having a USB port on the side is great for charging my phone while relaxing in my new chair.Quiet, YES it is super quiet, you can hardly hear it at all when you push the button for the chair to recline!There are pockets on both sides for you to keep a book etc. close by.The way it reclines is such that the chair comes out from the base unit, thus preventing it from hitting the wall behind it, thus taking up less floor space if your space is tight…It looks very nice in my family room and everyone that comes over, wants to try it out!I would most definitely recommend this chair to anyone shopping for a Recliner Chair!

I paid $248 after tax. The box arrived badly damaged with a lot of post packaging tape holding the carton together, and the top part and feet poking through the box. However, it went together well in 15 minutes and luckily worked. The color is a bit darker than it appears on Amazon. Unfortunately, it's thick cloth material collects pet hair and dust. You need to put the arms and arm-pads on first or it won't go together. Some assembly skills are required to zipper the pads to the frame. The motor is pretty quiet. I am 5' 10"-170 lbs and it is more than big enough for me with comfortable pads. It's not as sturdy as I hoped, but it the lowest price power recliner on Amazon or Walmart.

This wonderful recliner was delivered ten days ago, my grandson assembled it in less than 20 minutes, following the easy direction booket, and I love it. With my arthritic back, the chair I have been using for watching TV and reading had become so problematic, I knew I had to change to a recliner. I was about to give up after seeing recliners offered in stores, when my friend suggested I check Amazon. What a delight to find everything I wanted in a recliner: electric functions, beautiful cozy fabric, perfect dimensions for spot needed, so very well constructed, and extremely comfortable. I have sent this photo to family and friends…OH, and the price…what a great buy!!!!

I purchased this for my 97-year-old mom who just spent almost a month in the hospital and then rehab. She’s always had recliners in her bedroom and the living room, but they’ve been rockers. She’s now too frail and the rockers wobble too much to give her stability when she’s transferring from the wheelchair to the recliner. This chair is perfect for her - extremely comfortable but very stable and solid. I purchased one for the living room and will be ordering another for her bedroom. Word of advice - there are several parts stored under the chair. I missed them and contacted the seller complaining that they were missing. They responded very promptly and politely informed me that the “missing parts” were indeed the main frame. Very easy to put together (helps to have 2 people to get the zippers right, but not necessary).

I watched all the videos, from this company, on their Amazon item page. Putting the chair together wasn't a problem as the directions were easy to follow & the videos were extremely helpful.When I took the items out of the package, I had numerous areas where the different pieces were damaged and/or ripped. The worst part was the flap on the rear portion of the chair. The bottom "flap" that is supposed to be attached using velcro is ripped in half (as you can see in the pics). I took pics of all the damaged areas and then put the chair together. After the chair was successfully put together I wrote the company and showed them all the pics and the different areas that were damaged. The first set of pics I sent them I accidently omitted the pic of that flap that was ripped in half. This COMPANY'S THEORY IS THAT THE AREAS THAT WERE DAMAGED OR RIPPED WERE "COSMETIC" AND WOULDN'T BE SEEN SO THATS NOT AN "ISSUE"!! Then realizing I forgot to send the pic of that flap that was ripped in half, I then sent it. They replied by asking if I could sew that back on myself and if so they would give me a refund of $60 for that flap that was ripped. I asked them "what about ALL OF THE OTHER AREAS THAT WERE DAMAGED OR RIPPED?" As I stated earlier, their thinking is that those rips & damages are "cosmetic" & won't be seen so they wouldn't do anything about those. I GUESS BUYING A CHAIR THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND NEW DOESN'T REGISTER WITH THEIR THINKING! I took the $60 and then decided I'd wait a few weeks to write a review, because If I had written it then it would've been rejected for not being so nice.As I think about it now I just hope everyone is aware THAT IF YOU PURCHASE A CHAIR OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS COMPANY, BE WARNED THAT IF THERE IS ANY MINOR DAMAGE ON ANY OF THE PARTS THAT ARE CONSIDERED "COSMETIC" BY THEM THEY WON'T REFUND ANY PORTION OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE. THE IDEA OF PURCHASING A "NEW" ITEM DOESN'T REGISTER WITH THEM. EVERY PART OF MY CHAIR WAS DAMAGED, YES ON THE INSIDE PORTIONS THAT WOULDN'T BE SEEN but this damage makes it seem to me that it is NOT A NEW CHAIR THAT I PURCHASED! If that back flap hadn't ripped I WOULD'VE RECEIVED NO, ABSOLUTELY ZERO, COMPENSATION FOR ANY OF THE DAMAGED AREAS. I do know know that I won't be making another purchase from this company, nor will anyone that I'm able to tell about their "theory" of new vs. used/damaged items!!!!After watching the video's and reading the reviews, I want expecting this chair to seems so...ummm cheap. I was expecting a more "sturdy" chair. I do like the idea of it having an USB port. Also, I wish I would've thought more about the "electric" foot rest. I have NO FAITH that this electric foot rest will last. When it does "go out", stop working, etc. Your chair automatically becomes useless as there is no back-up. So keep that in mind d when making this purchase. Then again, you get what you pay for, or in this case you're supposed to get what you pay for!
