I recently purchased the Curl Defining Brush from Amazon, and it has completely transformed my hair routine. As someone with curly hair, I've struggled to find a brush that effectively defines curls without causing frizz or discomfort. I usually use one of those wide toothed combs for my curly hair. When producing curl strands you would think that’s all you would need. But I get a bad case of the frizz, and this brush was well priced, so I figured I’d give it a try. This little brush has the stiff vent brush like bristles, accompanied by hairbrush like bristles, surrounded by the strand creating notches. It works great! Who’da thought??? I do not have the patience of a hairdresser, so I use it pretty quickly and through big sections. I spend less than a minute on combing through: I first put some styling cream in my hair when it’s still soaking wet (straight out of the shower, no water removal) then I comb through with this, making sure the last part to go through my hair are the notches. It’s a bit straight at that point (I have white girl hair with uneven big curls), but I scrunch dry with a t-shirt type towel or a microfiber. Then I place all my hair into one of those fine hairnets like the lunch lady wears. That supports the curl as it dries. And I will either let it dry naturally in the net, use my blow dryer with the net in place, or put a bonnet on top of the net and go to bed. I end up with nicely pieced shiny curls. I think it’s the hairbrush bristles that smooth all the hair that might frizz into place with the rest of the strands. Whatever it is seems to work great and was well with the price to try it out.

I have 4A /3C hair It’s great but it does take longer to style. I’m not use to working in thin, small sections so if you are by all means this is a really good product! If you don’t work it smaller sections there’s quite a lot of frizz ir the picture provided. I gave 4 stars only because it not the quickest way to style but I definitely use it when I have the time and I’m never disappointed so please don’t let that loss of a star affect your decision!

The “bouncy brush” or whatever it’s called is close to $30! This is the same (probably better) and half the price! Very happy to have a more affordable option. The brush is well made, gets my curls looking beautiful, and works the same as I’ve seen on the videos of people with the expensive version.

Really good for people with curly hair. Its sturdy good quality detangles pretty fast . Would def recommended for someone who wants to style hair quickly and without effort .

I like the way it enhances my daughter's curls . Depending on your hair type and texture your hair may need other products to be used in conjunction with this brush.

This arrived and I won’t even try to use this on my hair out of fear of damage. There are two types of bristles on this brush. You can see in the photos that the bristles with the colored tips are missing, some of them are pressed down into the body of the brush and there’s a huge gap with no bristles whatsoever. The “boars hair” bristles are just synthetic plastic or nylon. Immediately returning this and avoiding styling my wet wavy hair with this poor quality brush.
