18857 5-Inch Titanium Non-Stick Stiff Heavy Duty Bent Scraper with Threaded End - Grey/Yellow

Great product for covering large areas of plaster in ceiling. After a kitchen refit there were some holes in the ceiling after the electrician had fitted downlighters. I tend to use jointing compound to fill gaps but needed a wider applicator. The electrician had cut circular holes in ceiling for access but then refitted the circular section back in leaving a few rings that needed filling. They were about 4" in diameter. This tool wal perfect. It left a lovely smooth finish. The blade is flexible allowing pressure to be placed on the blade without damaging the ceiling surface. It's great value for money and well made.

Really good strong, rigid scraper. In a different league to the cheap ones. And the handle is threaded for attachment to an extension pole.

This is a good product although dimension size for the extension would’ve been helpful. It’s sturdy and strong. I will update my review after I have used a few times. But so far so good

Excellent tool. Very strong metal that can be used as a chisel on plaster, and even on concrete in the trade off some damages. Will buy again when needing a replacement.

Painting and decorating? So where’s the best place to get your supplies…Amazon, free Prime (fast) delivery and invariably cheaper than your local Painter and Decorators shop. Everything you need from paint scuttle liners, brushes, rubber gloves, paint scrapers, putty knives…even paint products, I’ve yet to get any of these from Amazon and been disappointed, it’s a big thumbs up from me (and the wife…she does most of the painting). Good rust resistance, easy too clean and great value as well.

This scraper is heavy duty rigid, it does not bend at all, it has a sharpened edge but not blade like. I used it remove old wallpaper with a steamer. I have a Harris scraper but that was too flexible and didn't like it. Also the handle end can be unscrewed and you can attach to extension pole but only certain threads will fit. The handle is metal so you can tap it with a hammer if you're using for something else. Scraper is quite weighty so it might not be some people otherwise I would highly recommend this.

This is an unconventional review for this item as I am a dental student and brought this to use in removable prosthodontics lab when making occlusal rims. It is really useful and much better than the spatula my school gives us to use. It heats up really fast and is easy to manipulate the wax with. The grip is awesome and my hands never get hot from holding it. This spatula is truly non-stick! It is so easy to clean even after having a ton of wax on it. A few people in my class got one after seeing mines and they agree it is great for lab.

Very effective for applying joint compound on top of drywall seams, especially professionally (read: poorly) done tapings in the garage. The non-stick surface is great help in clean-up; it will wear off quickly from the edge, but that's mostly a cosmetic issue. Handle is comfortable, the knife feels hefty and high quality in hand, and there were no annoying stickers or labels that leave messy glue marks (the clear label on one side of the knife detaches cleanly). Does not fit into a five-gallon bucket of ready-to-use compound.
