I've recently found that Middle Eastern scent-makers create scents that are unique, sometimes exotic but almost always well-balanced. They also deliver great value in their products. Al Wataniah is a great example. The Kayaan Classic is a very clean all-purpose scent, great for any occasion, or even as a base scent for layering. It also smells great when I wear it to the gym. It hints at powder, but it has a background exotic spice note that's hard to pinpoint, one that is alluring but subtle. Excellent price for this product--a very safe scent for any guy, or girl. Kayaan Classic seems to last a long time, and it's range is moderate and unoffensive. The bottle looks sharp too and conveys the clean nature of the scent.

Soft, Creamy Sandalwood and Vanilla. Good 4-5 hours longevity. Projection is better with a few extra spray but generally moderate. Really good alternative to Dior Homme as the DNA is there but just made with a little less oil. I will say the creamy sandalwood in this makes this so loveable to anyone who is going to smell it. However, the sharp alcohol scent in the opening takes just a moment to thin out. All in all, i really enjoy wearing this cologne and i will buy again.

I must say that this fragrance is actually very smooth. Fragrance would most likely do well for dates and professional settings. The reason why I say this is because the projection isn’t as strong as most niche types. It will project if you add a few more sprays on your pulse points, but still it’s not going to be as a sauvage elixir for example. This is not a beast mode type of fragrance, which is why I would suggest this be used in dates, professional settings, and or interviews cause this smelled more strongly in an intimate setting. When I smell this, it makes me think about wearing a suit or looking wearing a sweater vest, maybe even turtleneck. I’m saying that because this is the type of vibe that it brings so that’s why I said this is more likely for dates or a professional setting. The longevity isn’t bad on this fragrance as well. It has this floral type of smell which to me smells like rose, jasmine and iris with a little bit of powder maybe a little bit of vanilla. It has an other few notes that I’m trying to differentiate with my nose, but for the most part it does do well. This is not overly sweet. It’s just a subtle hint of sweetness surprisingly this sits well on my skin. It doesn’t smell as feminine as I expected. It smells like a nicely dressed matured man with a bit of money who has a smooth confident charm. This is the best way I can describe it. If you ask me, I’d say this is a a worthy purchase.

I was looking for a less expensive Dior Homme and this smells like it on the dry down. However, it does not on opening and thats ok, the problem is that this cannot be a parfum. Its farrrr to weak. It lasts on the skin MAYBE 3 hours. It Stays on clothes all day so its not a complete loss. You need to spray ALOT, therefore it is overpriced and should be at the most $20. This is my first Al Wataniah and Im quite disappointed as I was interested in others by them but now I think Ill stick with others such as Lattafa....

This is my first iris forward scent and now I see what everyone talks about with describing it as "powdery", "lipstick" or "makeup case". At first spray I got a tart citrus blast, and some spice but not over powering. After a few minutes it starts to smell perfect and floral but still carrying the citrus through the floral notes. The spices are still subtle and the rise and jasmine become more pronounced. I wore this to work all day and it stayed with me for quite a long time to the point where I took off my shirt after 12 hours and I still have this musky iris scent on my skin. Never having smelled DHI and blind buying this based on many online reviews and recommendations I was worried that it may lean feminine. I however felt a little classy and elegant in a warehouse environment and a sophisticated masculine. I also think that the right woman can rock this with confidence as well.

I was all hyped up about it from the reviews online; turned out not be that great of a perfume. Initial smell great, feels really good. Doesn’t last more than an hour. Projection is not even there. Had to spray about 20 times to get some projection. Utterly dissatisfied by the overall product.

Smells great. It’s been on my skin for 5 hours so far. It’s smell similar to that popular designer fragrance. It was just what I was looking for. It’s very fresh and masculine. A woman can pull it off also though. I love the effectiveness and longevity of this Scent DNA. I will do a video review later for my social media pages.

It is very similar to DHI but I don't get that nice woody feeling that I get from Dior, this one is almost linear. The scent is very close, the feeling is not. Longevity is great but the projection is below average but I think it give nice whiffs to people around you.

If you’re looking for a Dior Homme alternative, Kayaan Classic by Al Wataniah nails the scent profile but fails miserably on performance. Even after macerating my bottle for 3 months, it only lasts 2–3 hours max before disappearing completely. ​If you want that DHI or DHP DNA with better longevity, skip this and go for Rayhaan Obsidian instead it performs better for a similar price point.
