This is just as I remembered from when I was a kid, my now 10 year old was winning and quit on me because it took to long! Great quality. Fun for me not him!

Can hardly wait to introduce my adult kids to this 80's classic board game.

My family and I had so much fun playing this game. We played for about 4 hours straight and finally had to declare a winner based on conquered territories, and the amount of armies on the board. Look forward to many more nights of fun.

I have seen some of this in earlier comments, but here goes. I can confirm that yes, the board of this game is smaller than the actual board from the 1980's -- though I don't see that as a bad thing. The pieces are the same design, which is great! I believe they are smaller than the originals though. I don't like the cheap looking plastic army men figures of some other games nor the wooden cubes of the really old versions. The worst thing about this particular version are the flimsy paper/cardboard boxes that the pieces come in. They did not come in the colorful plastic boxes of the original 1980's version. I bought a package of 6 plastic boxes though and fixed that easy enough. Also, because my kids and I play this so much, we took the cards to Office Depot and had them laminated and cut. Now our game will endure forever!

I remember playing this game as a kid and I loved it. So, when it was time to build up my game collection, I had to add this in. Super fun to play for 2 or more players. A good strategy game, good value for the money.
