Fun and engaging, some pieces are a little small
Lot of engaging learning for tots but some of the shapes are pretty small and they make me nervous.

4 in 1 Pre-School Learning Board
This sturdy, beautifully designed and constructed educational toy is outstanding in every way. It is all wood except for the metal beads and magnetic stylus, which have thick plastic coatings, and the sturdy woven cord used to attach the stylus to the board. A sheet of Plexiglas completely seals the colored beads in the maze so that the magnetic stylus can be used to safely drag them around and into the matching colored “ice cream cone” without any beads getting lost or inhaled. One side of the board has the bead maze, which is a lot of fun and teaches number and color recognition as well as counting. The wood above the maze is cut to fit numbers and shapes such as a triangle, square and pentagon. The holes are lined up so that each shape will fit directly below a number with the same color. The hexagon is under the 6, but the square is under 3, the triangle is under 4, and the pentagon is under the 8. I think this is a “missed opportunity” to relate the numbers to the sides of the shapes, but the toy is still so good that I would give it 6 stars if I could. The back of the board has the alphabet in upper and lower case letters for an older child to trace with the stylus. I was especially impressed that the strokes needed to form the letters have numbered paths to follow, showing where to begin and where to go next to form each letter. This toy belongs in every public library, preschool classroom and grandparent’s toy box.

Nice cover so little magnetized pieces stay inside
Good for young kids. The magnetic section is for the older kids, and the younger ones can enjoy the top two sections. The size of the board is large but not unwieldy. Good for home or preschool; too large for travel. Would make a nice gift for a birthday party. Nice enough packaging that you could ship right to recipient too.

Keeps little hands and minds busy
I love this wooden puzzle board to keep my toddler busy. The board it's nice and sturdy to help keep it from getting damaged with rough play. The pieces are easy for little hands to hold and I love that the magnetic pen in attached so it won't get lost. This is a great way for littles to learn numbers, shapes, and colors!

The baby loves it
My 4 year old toddler can't get enough of this. The number and shapes are relatively easy but a good refresher. Alphabet on the back could have been more engaging. The winner of the board is the game to put colored balls in the correct ice cream container. Keeps him occupied for 30+ min since it takes quite a bit to get those into correct ice cream
