I have very painful arthritis in my wrist & fingers and am unable to open most containers - Someone else has to open them for me - This adjustable opener is a blessing - Now I'm able to open most jars & bottles by myself with very little effort or pressure to my painful joints - The only drawback is that if the lid has less than an inch on sides, this opener is unable to grab hold of the sides & slips off. I really like having some independence back.

Does not grip the jar lid. Makes for a useful bottle opener, but nothing else.

This was a gift for relative who currently has some numbness in her hands and who had mentioned jars were difficult to open. She likes the opener very much, but has not yet used it. I will give more feedback after she has used it. Thank you.

I’m 75 and don’t have arthritis. It’s difficult to get tight enough to open. Kept slipping. I should have tried sooner but put back as gift and now can’t use it.

so far will not work on wide mouth salsa jar. The instructions were so tiny I had to go on line to see video on how to open in it wide

I had another jar opener for years. It suddenly disappeared so I had to order another one. It’s not as good as my original, but it’ll get the lids off of those jars if I take my time and work at it. The price was good so you need something to open those hard open jars this is for you.

This opener is Junk, do not buy this it is a waste of your money. flimsy, and will not grip lids, I tried it on 10 different jar sizes, and it would not open any of them. It is constructed from cheap plastic with metal teeth so pointy they rounded off when I tried to use it. The locking adjuster will not lock when you apply turning pressure, the magnet to hang it is so weak that the unit falls on the floor.

This opener has been a life saver. Easy to use, light weight and opens anything I need.
