So far so good. Built well. No issues with the bracket as other people have mentioned. Guessing they might have mounted it wrong or put too much pressure on it. Feed control is awesome. Hose feeds back in the proper way. Every time. Little bit of a learning curve. When pulling the hose to reel back in, barely have to pull it to disengage the lock. Took a few days to learn that. I’m very happy with it. Hope it holds up.

Great product, very well made out of rugged materials. Does the job of managing the compressor hose well. I was surprised that the steel mounting bracket holes didn’t line up with wall stud 2x4. As another reviewer pointed out, I made a mount to put it in my garage wall using 1/2” plywood that I painted to match my garage wall.

For the most part, I am very happy with this hose reel. I got a 100' long one, and it is every bit of that, and from what I can tell, it is actually a few feet longer. The hose seems to be nice quality, and the housing is nice too. I have had some issues with it that aren't too major, but if they did not exist, I would definitely have given it a 5 out of 5. The mounting bracket holes are too far apart to mount all four of them to a 2 x 4 stud, so I decided to try the wall anchors that came with it. The anchors pulled out of the wall as soon as I pulled on it. They are not suited for this at all. I read in at least one other review not to use the lag bolts that came with it, so I used my own and didn't mess with these. I ended up using some scrap pieces of wood and mounting them to a stud, and then mounting the reel to the wood (see in photos). I am going to replace what I have with two 2 x 4s anchored to two wall studs, just to be on the safer side. The other issue I have is that I couldn't use a standard wrench to tighten the quick release fitting onto the hose (see in photos). There is not enough space in there, so I am either going to have to buy some narrow wrenches or modify one of my existing wrenches so it will fit. I currently have an air leak at this spot obviously, but that is the only leak. I am happy about that! Overall, definitely a great buy for a hobbyist for airing up tires and using air tools. I would absolutely buy another one if I had to!
