I am pleased and honored to have read some of her books
The first book was...,well...fantastic and it made me buy this second book of her's. The first thought that came to my mind was that, normally if the first book was fantastic then the second book would be sluggish and boring.Little did I know. The second book was (is) so brilliant that it made me think of reading all the remaining books of Umm Zakiyya. Some of you may be wondering why I seem to love this writer. The reason is, Umm Zakiyyah seems to know the fundamental troubles of the human soul and it is based on this that she tries to teach us how to overcome our daily spiritual troubles using imaginary characters and fabulous writing skills. In so doing she ends up giving us almost all necessary and practical steps on how to carefully navigate during our spiritual journey.I am pleased and honored to have read some of her books.

Loved it
This is the best of the Trilogy. It was interesting, heartfelt, reflective, and real. Through the eyes of Tamika we get a firsthand look at what it is like to convert to Islam, alone, and loose everything else, like family. And it tells of her getting back on her feet and facing her fears, and love. It is a story of forgiveness and self-reflection. You do not have to read the first book to understand what is going on. I don't recommend the last book at all. Everything that makes a novel interesting and inspiring, is in this book, and it is better written than the first. Totally recommend.

I want to share this with my daughters
This reminded me of teen novels I read growing up, only it’s about Muslims. This illustrates a lot more than I could explain, and in a more entertaining way.

This book cover Hadith! It really gives you details ...
This book cover Hadith! It really gives you details from a person who were born Muslim and a person that is a revert to Islam. It makes you self reflect on the soul and pleasing Allah subhana wa' ta'ala and not your family, friends etc. we will stand alone on the day of judgement

A must read book for young adults Muslim and otherwise.
A fantastic book, it really goes into detail about what it's like to be a Muslim after you've just changed from a different religion and it also helps with people who are already Muslims and getting back in touch with your religion as a young adult.
