Anytime ToolsDIAL Test Indicator 2-Way Horizontal Extended Range +/-0.060"/0.0005"

A basic, common tool at a reasonable price. As a hobby machinist, this indicator works well with my current drill press, X-Y table setup. I was surprised at how well it worked. A great help in zeroing in the table and the vise.I am not sure about the absolute accuracy but the relative runout works well and is worth the price.

I ordered 1 last year that I let the new employee's use. It still is working as it should! I am amazed at the costs. And reliability. Now I don't have to worry about someone breaking my 300$ Interapid.

Product came in broke I contacted to ask for missing screws I got the run around they finally sent a screw which was wrong one I notified and that was followed by more run around so trashed the unit and bought a starrett they are more expensive but definitely worth it

This indicator works great. It has the same body as my old one that I dropped, but the needle doesn't pivot as smoothly as my old one. I do love the extended range of ÷/- .060", though.

i bought this indicator on december 2nd and was pretty excited to use it. I used this indicator quite often on a CNC mill. I never crashed the indicator was never rough with it, but the screws in the back of the indicator came loose and now my dial doesn't repeat after tightening the screws back up. I now have to send the indicator in for repairs. I wish I could return and get a replacement.

After using the indicator for about a week or two I was have quite a few problems with it.The rotating face of the indicator is too tight and makes, making minor adjustments a pain and will throw off your Zero.The short ball at the bottom you use for your measurements gets stuck so you cannot get an accurate read out.When trying to measure a straight line it indicator always seems off by 1 thou or so.

I've had interapid before, and although this one has been accurate for me, i don't like that i can hear the internals moving. Can't beat the price. I would buy again.

Use this thing every. For the price you can't beat it. Our shop has a few Interapids that I love but didn't have the money to buy my own so I decided to give this a try and with a side by side comparison it's works just as well. I Can't attest to how long it'll last but I can say it was worth the money.
