Brilliant. First, a thing of beauty, like fine artwork. A substantial product of sleek design and smooth functionality. I was on the hunt for a new popcorn popper after owning several malfunctioned brands. Curious about the price, I watched several videos which sealed my decision to purchase. You really do get what you pay for and this is the Bentley of popcorn makers. Hardest decision was selecting the color, because they are all scrumptious! Thrilled with my Poppy!! With just three pieces, pot, lid, and detachable stainless spinner, clean up is a breeze. Secondly, the popcorn. I love the smooth butter flavored packet which rivals the delicate balance of true theatre popcorn. I have yet to try the kettlecorn flavor. The packets are concise and simple to use, no measuring. Less than six unpopped kernels on medium heat. This versatile popper also allows you to whip up a batch using your own ingedients. Healthwise, popcorn is a better alternative to other salty snacks due to its fiber content. Makes 4 servings.

..wenn man es aus Deutschland bestellt, ist es exorbitant teuer mit Einfuhrzöllen etc und man kann Popcorn sicher auch in einem handelsüblichen Topf brauchbar hinbekommen - aber ich muß sagen (und ich habe es jetzt schon einige Monate), ich mag das Teil wirklich gern und benutze es auch regelmäßig. Bisher ist es kein verstaubender Küchengadget Fehlkauf. Das Poporn wird wirklich ein bißchen größer, wegen der gleichmäßigen Röstung. Mein Lieblingszezept ist 2 EL Coconut Oil, 1/2 Tsp Salz und 2-3 EL Zucker und das brennt in dem Topf auch eigentlich nie an durch die Bewegung und das Popcorn ist auch gleichmäßig damit ummantelt mit einer leicht crossen Außenschicht durch den karamelisierten Zucker. Das ist mit einem normalen Topf schwieriger.

The item finally came in after being lost in the shipping system for a while. It feels solid and well made, easy to use, and no issues with the painted finish so far. It definitely feels like an heirloom item, an investment instead of a purchase with a countdown to replacement. We've popped a few batches now and it just works every time. Nearly every kernel popped and tastes great. Easy to disassemble and clean.

I love my popper. It works great, looks nice to leave out, and is easy to use. Here’s my thoughts: I got this to replace my trusted whirly pop for the main reason of how hard it was to clean. All the gears and gadgets, oil would get all over the inside and both sides of the lid. Pros: dare I say it I think my popcorn tastes better. Same everything, different popper - but crisper/clearer taste. Not sure why or how, but the butter, oil, salt are perfectly disbursed on all the kernels. It’s so easy to clean by hand or the dishwasher. It’s also super easy to put together out of the box and to use. The ease of cleaning and no exposed gears makes it much easier to make kettle corn or flavored popcorn without worry of ruining the popper or tainting future batches flavors. Cons: cost (as many others have said. But I make stovetop popcorn multiple times a week, so it was worth it). Heavy. No mistaking its sturdy. But is heavy to lift/dump out the popcorn. It also (unless I’m missing something) can be tricky to pour the popcorn out with the inner spinning device in n there. The small pieces and old maids get caught on it - and it’s hot so it’s not easy to just grab and take out. In my old popper it would be rare that I’d have any old maids. I’ve used this about 5 times and I do get some old maids each time, but it’s a small amount (less than 10 each batch).

I was skeptical but we do movie night every Friday and I was tired of doing microwave junk or messing with our whirley popper hoping not to make a mess or burn my hand. The popsmith is such good quality it’s gonna last forever. Their popcorn kits make it super easy to make Legit movie theatre quality and tasting popcorn it’s a no brainer. Would make a great housewarming gift or just cuz gift and if you don’t have one, get it!! Super easily to clean, love the insert clicks in so when you pour out the popcorn it comes out eithiut the spinner and the lid isn’t that flappy thing from the whirley pop. Very well designed
