It’s a fun project to assemble, and love the futuristic and cyberpunk design! But the instructions do occasionally mislabel the part numbers and there are some pieces or stickers that are not explained in the instructions.The lights are delightful in yellow blue and purple, but the instructions are very vague about how to use all of the light bulbs, and there are many extra yellow and blue bulbs that aren’t used at all, based on the instructions. I sort of made it up and put them around for extra decoration. The PCB board with touch button is pretty garbage quality, though :( the lights barely spark on, and the on/off and touch switch need to be re set constantly. And then lights just turn off without warning. I wanted to gift this to a friend but I don’t think the lights will work long term.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a veteran book nook builder at this point, and I'm easily tempted by the HP themed options. If you know, you know. The Dragon Alley vibes in this one sucked me right in, and I had a great time building it. Beware if you don't like working with very tiny things because the chains in this set presented quite a challenge. The end result was worth it though. Just look at those details!

It was fun to put together. The instructions were not that very clear in some places. Some pieces needed to be modified to fit together. USE GLUE (on all pieces).

I've actually found that most of these tends to look a little cheesy, because of their rounded edges and things like organics like cats and whatnot just look worse in a wood cutout of a naturalistic scene.Surprisingly, the cyberpunk aesthetic here - with the angular buildings and sharp edges of everything - actually give a bit more credence to this kit looking like an actual scene out of something as opposed to a model on your bookshelf. Overall, the kit was really easy to assemble. The directions were great. I love the light! It really does a great job of taking your eye to a different place in the bookshelf!

The box had been opened and re-taped. The accessories and a sheet of stickers were missing. A wooden part was missing. The control box, circuit board, and wires were scattered in the box. A dirty, stained cutting board with dried glue on it was included.

I don’t now what it is about Cyberpunk that I love….maybe the traditional blue/pink- purple lights and yellow?!theres another Cyberpunk boom nook that I have and they look awesome together!
