Excellent home or small office safe
Very useful size - quite surprised how big it was when removed from packaging - despite knowing the dimensions before purchase. able to get A4 documents in easily. There is a part depth upper removable tray. Inside light when open. Good build quality. Easy setup and opening - to close just rotate to shut no need to use keypad. Two security keys included to allow override opening in the event of forgotten keypad code or loss of battery power. Hotel type master code can be set. Low battery warning. Good instructions on setup and fixing. Very pleased with the product.

good domestic safe
very good product for the money and arrived on time as agreed at time of order. The size of safe is just right for domestic use for the safe keeping of passports and similar documents etc.

Security flaw
Update: Picked this open easily with a tubular lock pick in under 5 seconds. Thought this safe might have had additional security measures on the master over ride but apparently not. Will be returning.

Good solid unit
This is a solid easy to use unit, help by a light that comes on as you open the safe door. Recommend!

Faulty key/lock
Sadly, the key to manually open the small size safe (to insert the batteries and set a code) was faulty and did not work. Amazon agreed to replace the faulty safe immediately and I agreed to return it. I was sent the even smaller size (compact) safe in error (which we have decided to keep as it's too much trouble to return another safe). So far the replacement safe appears to be working, but we are apprehensive about the possibility of the manual over-ride key failing in the future with valuables inside.

Poor design, difficult handle to use.
Bery prompt delivery and good size. Able to fit 17 inches lap top. But really poor instruction on how to fit battery which can easily be remedied to give a good first impression. Had it a couple of days. The door is extremely difficult to open with the handle having no grip at all. The door fit very poorly resulting it being stuck all the time. My wife refuse to us it due to how difficult it is to open the door to the safe. Will end up needing to do some diy modification to the handle which is definetly not what i want to do.

Ich war erst verunsichert wegen den negativen Bewertungen. Habe den Tresor aber trotzdem bestellt und bin absolut zufrieden!!! Ich habe ihr Mittwoch Abend bestellt und Donnerstag Mittag wurde er geliefert !!!! Absolute Spitzenleistung bei so einem schweren Packet !! Der Tresor funktioniert einwandfrei und macht einen sehr sicheren Eindruck !! Der Preis ist zwar recht hoch, aber die dem Service nehme ich das in Kauf !! Also 3 ***** und klare Kaufempfehlung Update: leider 2 Sterne Abzug, weil die Batterien nur wenige Wochen halten und man so immer den Notfallschlüssel in Reichweite aufbewahren muss, da es passieren kann das das Zahlenschloss von heute auf morgen nicht mehr funktioniert... und das ohne Vorwarnung. Bei meinem alten Safe hielten die Batterien mindestens 1 Jahr. Sowas ist bei einem Produkt dieser Preisklasse wirklich schade

Der Safe kam leider mit leichten Beschädigungen an - da er von GB gesendet wurde und eher dürftig verpackt war. Leider gab es auch keinen Überkarton und so sah natürlich jeder was da bestellt wurde - müsste doch nicht sein. Funktion ist einwandfrei - daher die 4 Sterne !
