100% Recycled & Good For Everyday Use
These paper napkins from Seventh Generation get the job done! They are 100% recycled, which makes this company worth it, because they put in a lot of effort to make that possible for us.The package notes that: If every U.S. household replaced just 1 package of 250 count virgin fiber napkins with this recycled product, 810,000 trees could be saved. And if you care about the environment, that sounds pre,tty cool. IF it were to happen somehow. These napkins ARE pretty thin, but they DO wipe up messes made during mealtime. They have decent absorbency and strength, for what they are. They're hypoallergenic, and naturally whitened without any chlorine, added dyes, inks or fragrances. So that comes in handy for those with allergies, skin sensitivity, for babies and children, and people who prefer all-natural products. These paper napkins don't feel rough to the touch at all, although they don't necessarily feel very soft. I believe that comes along with staying strictly within the natural boundaries, instead of using harmful chemicals to artificially soften them. But they don't feel abrasive in any way. They just aren't like a plush stuffed animal. There are very subtle, textured, bumpy patterns on the outside of these paper napkins. I'm assuming that helps to create absorbency. It's not overly noticeable, so don't worry. I'm just trying to give an honest and really detailed review. I know some people and parents are very particular when it comes to natural products like this. But I would assume those same people know Seventh Generation products. They don't smell like anything, and there are 250 1-ply paper napkins in the package. They are NOT made of heavy material, and they're folded up twice to make their square shape.Overall, I don't have any problem with these, unless I had to clean up heavy duty spills and messes. For those, go for heavier paper towels, which I know this company has available alsoOtherwise, these are perfect for everyday use, and you can feel good about using these 100% recycled paper napkins.

A Covid 19 purchase
Could not find my regular product on the shelves during the initial panic buying that occurred when this Covid 19 mess first happened. This was a substitute product and I doubt that I shall buy it again. It works.

It's a decent napkin
They are decent napkins. They are just regular paper napkins, don't expect to be amazed by them.Even though they are only 1 ply, they hold up nicely during use, they are enough sturdy and do not fall apart when wet.If you are concerned about the environment, these are the best paper napkins, I think.

Good everyday napkin
I like to use these napkins for daily use. They are fairly thin, but work for children who may not need a thicker paper napkin. They will not wipe up any substantial spills, but work well for wiping up/off small amounts of food/drink.

good buy
great price for a lot of napkins. I go through a lot of napkins using them for everything from putting under my coffee cup to using as a tissue when I have a runny nose in the kitchen (you can all admit you've done it before in a pinch:) They work very well for napkins too, not as thick as those fancy expensive kind, but thick enough to wipe peanut butter and jelly off little hands and mouths.

Good napkins for the price
For the price, these napkins are great. They aren't as plush or as soft as other (more expensive) napkins but that's what you'd expect. I will continue purchasing these as long as the price stays low.

Good Quality
These are better than some but not quite my favorite. Still, they are nice looking and a good quality.

Good enough in a pinch but
Before COVID-19 I repeatedly purchased a particular name brand paper towel napkin but found they were impossible to come by recently. Purchased these thinking how different can a paper napkin be? These are thin, rough, and much less absorbent. Living with twin four year olds, we do use our fair share of napkins, and these are good enough for tidier meals but definitely inadequate for spaghetti night.
